Are you driving around with an expired registration sticker? If so, you aren't alone. Since March 2020, no one has said a word about it. But starting tomorrow, that could all change.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott's waiver of vehicle title and registration requirements ends on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021. The waiver was put into place back in March 2020 in order to cut down on people waiting in lines across the state due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since today is when the waiver ends, police departments across the state could start issuing citations to Texans whose registration stickers are out of date.
