Community pays respects to fallen NMB officer at visitation

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The North Myrtle Beach community paid their respects to fallen North Myrtle Beach police Sgt. Gordon Best on Thursday.
Countless people waited outside the doors of the Alabama Theater for his visitation. They were let in by groups in order to maintain social distancing.
Best lost control of his patrol car on New Year’s Day on the wet roads of Highway 17 while responding to a call.
