Wyoming sees 9 more COVID deaths; 52 hospitalizations Tuesday

CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported nine additional COVID-19 related deaths on Tuesday. 734 Wyoming residents have reportedly died since the pandemic began.
52 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the WDH. There were also 52 COVID patients in Wyoming hospitals on Monday, which was up from 47 on Sunday. At the Wyoming Medical Center, there were 8 COVID patients on Tuesday, down from 10 on Monday. Hospitalizations peaked in Wyoming on Nov. 30, 2020 at 247.
51 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 during the WDH’s 3 pm Tuesday, June 15 update. There have now been 51,590confirmed cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began. The WDH reports 334 active confirmed cases in the state. Probable cases rose by 18 Tuesday to a total of 9,713.
