CASPER, Wyo. — Four Wyoming legislators are sponsoring a bill that would lower the state’s minimum big game or trophy animal hunting age.
Under current law, youth must be at least 12 years old in order to take a big game or trophy animal. House Bill 115 proposes allowing people 11 years old to take a big game or trophy animal if they will turn 12 years old by the end of the calendar year.
