Wyoming COVID hospitalizations rise to 24 Thursday; 61 new confirmed cases

CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported 61 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 during their 3 pm Thursday, April 15 update.
There have been 48,394 total confirmed cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began. Probable cases rose by 15 to 8,809.
Five additional confirmed cases were reported Thursday in Natrona County, where the tally stands at 5,882 confirmed cases. Probable cases rose by one to 1,994.

The number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19 rose to 24 on Thursday, up from 22 on Wednesday, according to the WDH. Wednesday was the first time there have been more than 20 COVID-19 patients hospitalized since March 23. Hospitalizations peaked in Wyoming on Nov. 30, 2020 at 247.
