You can see red burgundy car, their four doors are open. This all could have started as a robbery or stolen vehicle. Police fired shots after trying to stop the suspect. It all started around 3 00 this morning, possibly on the gw hospital campus. The suspect was not hit. The officer was not injured. We have for information that the suspect returned fire. Police have two cars as evidence at this location and virginia avenue and g streets. A silver vehicle. Were not sure if those two locations are related. The University Police put out a safety and security alert about the shooting and an active search for suspects. Two people are now in custody. An active scene here. Thats the very latest. It happened around 10 00 monday night in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of northeast d. C. Witnesses say the woman was causing trouble outside an apartment complex. Then she entered someones apartment. We do understand that all four victims, though, are expected to recover. Meanwhile Montgomery County police are investigating a possible meth lab inside a government facility. This after an explosion over the weekend at the National Institutes of standards and technology. Workers in hazmat suits entered special projects building 236 on the sprawling gaithersburg campus where the explosion left a Supervisory Police officer with burns and some unusual evidence, including items pointing to the production of meth. A cleanup operation is under way in baghdad at the site of a car bomb where it exploded in front of a busy clothing store. At least 14 people were killed in yesterdays blast. 30 others were injured according to police. The explosion happened in the predominantly shiite district of baghdad. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack but the Islamic State group has been targeted shiites across the country as it seeks to destabilize the shiiteled government in baghdad. The trunk is up, taillights on and a couple of doors open there. It may all be related to a robbery and a stolen vehicle. I think tomorrow morning areas well north and west of the district will be looking at temperatures into the upper 50s. High pressure is in place well off to the west. Crews got the call around 2 30. They found the warehouse which was full of cars and smoke pouring out of it. People who live nearby are being evacuated. This is impacting the commute. The warehouse is right next to nj transit, the northeast corridor of the rail tracks there. Get ready for some good weather. Take a look at the sevenday forecast. This is nice.
