One lane pattern between south street and 30th street station. No delays at the moment. And so they will come right here and then on up broad street. You have seen the parade route many, many times. Again, we had no trouble getting in. As you know, youre not allowed to park in any of the Stadium Parking lots, which a lot of people have been frustrated with. But right here, at a septa stop, right here where all of the stadiums are, this is where the parade will begin, guys. Jen, that sounds amazing, just discussing all of the lodge et cetera innings, all of the high feelings and emotion toss drop with, that so getting ready to have this Party Started earl. I of course eagles fans are getting the Party Started early. Dozens of people spent the night at the Art Museum Just to make sure they have the front row seat to see the championship parade. I know it is cold out there but certainly isnt dampening our spirits. Fans say nothing will stop them from joining todays celebration. This is a historical event, first time we won a super bowl, and when the super bowl actually start. So everyone is out here getting it started. Let it be known we rep philly to the fullest. So theyre going to be putting this cold and wind for awhile. They dont care. They all seem in a good mood. Nobodys complaining about the weather. Look at the 15 street sign to the left blowing in the wind right under the red light. So that gives awe sense about the windchill factor, were feeling out here, but im sure it is even more windy on the parkway. We have the Tall Buildings across from city hall all blocking us. Soloff park will feel the love today when the parade goes by here, and karen, thomas, i am aim looking at Dilworth Plaza over there all lit up with the nice trees and remembering the last championship parade we had when villanova ended up there, and that was a sea of people. So, im expecting maybe to see another sea or ocean of people today, as the parade passes by, one of the iconic spots between city hall and love park later, guys. It is so exciting. Youll need to consider here. An extra train is leaving Atlantic City at 8 26. And another leaves philadelphia at 4 19 in the afternoon. Now from 8 00 a. M. To 7 00 p. M. , the bus service will only make a single stop in center city, this is at sixth and race streets require line between the walter ran Transportation Center in camden. It is sponsored. So were expecting a lot of people to come in. It was about maybe five minutes ago that they finally opened up the doors. The first train is expected to head in at about 4 36. So weve seen bits and pieces, a little bit quiet so far. But people coming down from the parking lot, in here, and waiting. So far this morning, right over here in the transportation hub, theyve been running shuttle buses in. I talked to some of the foam here. They say it was a little bit heavier than normal at this point. But septa officials actually pointed out to us that even though it is quiet right now, it may be the time to common in and get started on this trip. Remember, this one, the market frankford line consideration handle about 35 maybe 40,000 an hour. Theyre expecting 2. 2 million with large percentages using this transportation so you dot math. Probably better if you to get up early, get things started, but so far it is quiet. We will be here throughout the morning, guys. Feel good. Just imagine if youre at the end of that line . I feel bad for the ladies definitely, but i think as guys were lucky as long as they dont try to tip them. Well make do and do what we need to do and get the job done. So the question is going to be, if you have to go badly youre just going to wait in line and go. Ladies unfortunately that usually falls to us. So so many people will be out there along the route. I just had a friend, we a guest cancel today, the flu, little worried about that. So if you do have any of those symptoms, stay home, you dont want them to get exasperated by the cold conditions, and maybe over strange yourself. And always advice to touch your face, bring hand sanitizer, lot of tissues, if youre sick, stay home. Because you do not want to spread it to the crowd. Of course the parade route the Perfect Place for businesses to promote some, well, their own business, and for some of to you score some swag. So, check this out here. Shake shack is giving out free ice scream, whoop swoop, and haagen daaz, theyll be gig out free ice cream at it south street shop as well. Well you know bud light handing out free beer along the parade route. Bud light reps will be out there at number of bars giving you tokens which you can then exchange for a beer. Because youll be standing out for awhile in the sunshine. You dont think of that when it is cold out, but it is still sunny. Anyway, lake effect snow coming on down to the central part of the state. Thats about as far as it will go. But it is much colder air, thats moving across the great lakes in the wake of yesterdays cold front. So, lets talk temperature. First, it is 29 degrees in philadelphia. 31 degrees in millville. 33 degrees in wildwood. 27 degrees up in allentown, colder than yesterday. But you got to factor in the sustained winds of around 14, 13, 16 miles an hour, and wind gusts that are even higher, 22 n dover, and 25mile per hour gust in millville. Pretty windy up in the mountains, as well, making it feel colder than it is, so you see windchills as low as 18, 16 degrees out there, this morning. So, keep that in mind, because a lot of folks will be out for awhile, get that good spot along the parade route, then waiting for the parade to start. So, yesterday, thankfully, we got to 50 degrees in all of the frozen mess in the morning did change over to rain, although it was a yucky day. Today high of only 34. 40 degrees tomorrow, with mostly cloudy skies. Shower chance, so we have to move the eagle there, shower chance on saturday, and rainy and mild on sunday. So it is not a breitbart and beautiful weekend, but it will be mild, with temperatures in the 50s, and beyond that some moderating temperatures, as well, so out of the seven day forecast, bob kelly, this is the coldest day. Now, they are servicing broad street here, the broad street subway, however, there is cents no parking in the stadium complex this morning. Eastbound on the schuylkill expressway, if youre coming into the city closed at the vine street expressway. This is all part of overnight construction, puts everybody on to the vine, youll be okay. Here is the deal for septa. Again with the Regional Rail lines, you must have a pass. Select stations only every Regional Rail line has a different set of stations that the trains will be originating from. And stopping. So we have all of the details up on our website, you have to board and return at that same station, septas big concern, with a lot of folks using mass transit, maybe using mass transit for the first time, and a lot of kids, respect the yellow line thats there. Make sure you and the kids are behind that yellow line as you stand and wait at all of the train station this is morning, that includes the Regional Rails, the market frankford, and the broad street subway, the conditions are going to be crowded, especially for that return trip home. As far as the market frankford line, as we heard from Bill Anderson, there is only 15 stations that theyre servicing across the whole line. Again, we have all of the details up on our website. So make sure you go to the right station, and the trains will be running every five to seven minutes, both the market frankford and the broad street subway, free rides, and really these are the two big work horses and probably your best bet specially if you dont have a pass for the Regional Rail lines. Honestly just the fact that there is going to be so many people here, our first time being in a giant crowd. So this will be definitely one to remember. There is your stadium complex, the wells fargo parking lot. The reason theyre not allowing parking down in this area is that it takes about 130 Police Officers to actually put that whole operation in play. And because of the lent of the parade route, we just not enough officers to handle both the parade route and the whole parking operation. So, thats the reason why there is no parking down here in south philly. But there you go, there is the route, right on up broad street. There is the city skyline. We are ready to go, the schuylkill expressway eastbound, if you are driving in early this morning, there is a l i saw extra cars on the road this morning, coming in at 2 30, folks at with a washings grabbing their smacks and their coffee, ahead of the big day. Eastbound still closed at the vine street expressway for maybe another half hour or so. If you are using septa Regional Rail lines, you have to have a pass. There is only select stations where the trains will be stopping. Every line is different. So go to our website. Fox29. Com. Click on what Regional Rail lines youre going to use, youll see the station that is are available. For example, the Paoli Thorndale line, there is only five stations, where those trains are going to be stopping. You need to board and return at the same station. Most importantly, a lot of the kids and parent, this is their first time in big crowds. That yellow line, you want to stay behind the yellow line, because the trains may not be stopping at the station youre standing at. Specially when those trains become over crowded. Free ride on the market frankford and broad street subway line today. For example, there is only 15 stations being used on the market frankford line. So make sure you got the right list, the right stations, and trains are running every five to seven minutes, if you dont have a pason the Regional Rail lines, there is your two best options, the subway, and the market frankford line, karen and thomas back to you.
