The eagles feel like theyll have full deck for tomorrow super bowl and everybody will be fine to play. However, it is a very dry environment in the hotel youre cranking up the heat because theres subzero temperatures out here. You are hoping nobody wakes up in the morning feeling ill. It is being build nick foles versus tom brady although we know theyre not actually playing against each other tomorrow. Nick foles has gone through all of the highs and lows roller coaster to almost retiring and now hes here on the cusp of the super bowl. It takes the entire group an entire just, you know, to create this atmosphere that we have, its really, you know arc lot of fun to go to work every day and in turn it creates a lot of leaders to where you just have groups of them and everyone is doing the right thing, and, you know, its pretty special. How important is that for all the guys that havent been here. Tremendously because when we walk into this stadium tomorrow, theyre going to realize the enormity of the event. Its been quite different this week obviously a lot of media. A lot time away from your family at the hotel but when you go into the stadium and you see its full three and a half hours before kickoff you realize just how huge this is, and i really thing from nick foles standpoi standpoint, we talked about this way back when before the dallas game. I mean, he details his work like no other. And obviously he got some skill. He can make all the throws. Hes not scared to stay in the pocket and deliver passes to his guys. Obviously he got good coaching behind him too. Hes a guy like i said ooh nose matchups. He knows where he wants to getly ball before he calls hut. And i think thats one thing thats really really good about him. As former patriot chris long knows him well. And has some advice. I cant tell you what to do but i can tell you whatnot to do and thats, you know, forget about doing your job and forget about, upping, your fundamentals and what got you here cause as ive said hes good at timing hes good at, you know, frustrating rush schers getting the ball out mixing up the protections. Um, and you cant get out of your game. At the end of the day, the eagles game plan for tom brady will center on one thing. Pressure thats the main thing. You see him guess frustrated with pressure. But the thing with him is for us as a defense he has a unique ability to be able to get the ball out quick, so for us we got to keep our composure and give pressure when we can. So that is the key taking down tom brady, pressure. We have been talking about it all week. Giants defense was able to do that against brady at the eagles in the super bowl. Pressure is different than hitting tom brady. The eagles on sunday want to hit tom brady. You can put all the pressure you want on him hes so good sliding away from the pressure but obviously you want to make sure he doesnt have anywhere to step up for tim jurnigan, fletcher cox huge. I think jim schwartz will mix a blitz here and there but for the most part hope his four man pass rush can get to brady. Get the football out quickly. Two games comes to mind against the eagles defense. Aaron rodgers last year at lincoln financial field. Eli manning at let metlife stadium. They got rid of the football quickly. Eagles have spend a lot of time preparing. Brady doesnt want to get hit. Hes 40 years old. Who wants to get hit when theyre 40yearold. 40yearold quarterback in the super bowl first ever. They emphasis not pressuring him but hit him and keep hitting him. You mention add couple of names there weve been talking all about this pressure and hitting tom brady. Where is that going to come fr from. I think this defensive line has proven itself over the course of 18 games one the best in the league they are deep, they are talented quick off the football the scheme tells you to go up and play the quarterback. Go get the quarterback. So i really believe the eagles will see 54 passers in this game and they know it. Its really going to come down how you move tom brady off the spot. Its youre still doing a lot of prep, youre preparing like youre the starter but its different so when you step into the starting role, um, you really talking more about the uscheme that you like, different plays you like so thats really the big difference. As quarterback you have your ups and downs, ive gone from starter to backup to starter to backup and so you root for guy like nick foles who is on the verge of retiring and now has come back and up to a home. Here in the playoffs nick foles and eagles offense has found a lot of success with quick passes to create that tempo that work really well for him and those chunk plays. How effective can that be against the patriots.
