Police say just after 10 00 this morning, that resident made the tragic discovery, medics took the child to ariatorresdale hospital where she was pronounced dead about an hour later. Neighbors are saddened and remain in shock. It is devastating. I dont know, it is really sad. It is horrible. Very nice kid. Theyre all, you know, they all played out here all the time, all the kids played out here. It is just crazy. No word right now on her cause of death as Police Continue to investigate. People have been returning to whats left of their homes in a Delaware County condominium building. Last night a raging fire tore through it all. Reporter hi, well, thats right, weve been here all day, people who live here have been stopping by trying to pick up whatever is left, phone it is just a picture frame, as you can see, there is not much here. One thing, though, they tell us that is warming their hearts, is the donation effort, the local red cross tells me theyve never seen anything like it. Smacks and pet food blanket and animal carriers, an outpouring of holiday generosity, after fire destroyed almost everything owned and cherished by the 18 families who lived in building c of the hilltop condo complex in brookhaven Delaware County. Jennette found out through facebook her home was gone, tuesday night. This was around 7 00. And it was already engulfed in fire. Fire had started about an hour earlier moving fast according to investigators, yet all 24 resident survived. Some with minor injuries, many have lived here for decades. This will be my going on 18 years. A day after losing everything, these families starting their life from scratch. Happy for an undamaged pair of boots, or picture frames, that survived the flames. This was the last time my dad was here. Neighbors stepping in to fill the gaps. Before the fire was even under control, we had folks from the Community Showing up with donations to help out their fellow citizens. That generosity on full display at brookhaven borough hall, hundreds every coats, blanket, lining the auditorium. Sense of Christmas Spirit that people are still in that, you know, i got to give to my neighbor. And give to their neighbor they did. Now, those donations are still being given out to the victim here, and people are still stopping by to pick them up. Now because the fire was so quickly moving, the state as well as local fire authorities are investigating, and right now they still dont know the cause of this fire. Guys, back to you. The fire started just after 3 00 on the 400 block of winona street. As you can see, smoke pouring out of the home, and firefighters on the roof to try to gain control of the fire. The fire was placed under control, shortly after 3 30. It was fire throughout at one point. It was wind blowing, it was wind driven, and again icy conditions when youre operating on a roof, when youre operating going up steps, everything is slowed, so you dont become, again, part of the problem. And we dont sustain any injuries. It was really smokey, glass was breaking everywhere, debris, it was really bad. And at this time that fire remains under investigation. A judge has ordered a 16 year old boy to stand trial in the shooting death of two other teens in south philadelphia. Prosecutors say Brandon Oliveri shot and killed call ear miller in salvador de noble in october. Both were also 16. Investigators say the violence on south 12th street started after an argument broke out between two groups of kids. Police in new jersey have a man behind bars after they say he attacked and robbed an elderly woman. It happened this morning on booth any circle in willingboro township. Police say the suspect, 29 year old Joaquin Johnson forced his way into the 80 year old victim ace home. Police say he demanded her car keys, and her purse, and stabbed her.
