You can see this is just one of the many streets, of course, in philadelphia and parts of the Delaware Valley that will have to be dealing with refreezing concerns through the overnight hours. Snowplows were out in force in south jersey friday night. To end a rush hour that many would rather forget. Everybody is slamming on the brakes on the way here usually takes half hour, maybe 45 minutes. Took me an hour and a half. Reporter double, even triple the commute times seem to be the store with secondary roads still snow covered. Trying to get up one of the hills was there was not it wasnt treated well enough. So it was really hard getting up. Reporter in the height of the storm it was slow moving even for ambulances. 16yearold abby, just learning to drive admits im a little more nervous, yes. It took us an hour to get from the schuylkill to upper darby township. Many people had the same experiences with long delays. But once people finally got home they had to dig on the of their driveways and sidewalks. This is the scene in another drexel hill neighbor most people we talk with found this storm to be some kind of a hassle. Well, it was really, rea reay very slow drive. I dont understand why the city didnt prepare the roads. They knew this the snow was coming. Nothing it was pre treated, its not enough so everybody had to take half hour drive for three hours. I had my grandson was stuck at the doctors on henry avenue. Took me an hour to get to him. Then his dad was stuck at work at the post office. I had to go get him. It took us two and a half hours to get up to here. Because my daughter was stuck on west chester pike. I just took my time. It just wasnt a jam to me. Just seemed people were taking their time, but i didnt slip or slide one time. It was fine. Its not too bad. Its just real light snow. So its easy to push and easy to, um, shovel away. So i like this kind of snow. Its pretty but its easy. Reporter it is pretty even on the roads here back out live. But it can still be a mess if you havent shoveled yet, and the fox 29 Weather Authority also telling us the big issue now is refreezing. Thats going to be an issue throughout the night. New tonight a man is in the hospital after he was shot by a delaware state trooper. Delaware state police say the incident happened around 4 30 this afternoon in wilmington. Trooper was conducting a traffic stop on faron drive near hammond place. Investigators say the trooper was dragged by a vehicle and then fired his gun hitting the suspect. The officer has nonlife threatening injuries. The suspect is in despicable and heartbreaking how the temple president is describing racial signs on campus. Police identified a person of interest. They say the person posted highly offensive racist signs including the n word at three different locations throughout campus. Temples president says the university will not allow such incidents to define it and he hopes the Temple Community will come together and fight bigotry and hatred. Caught on camera in brooklyn arc few subway riders found an unconscious man on the train tracks just as a car was approaching the station yesterday. Lilly one of the computers streamed the rescue on facebook life as she and others attempted to wake up the man. They pressed the emergency button to stop that oncoming train from coming. They say that gave them enough time to pull the man off the tracks, paramedics then transported him to the hospital where hes being described as in serious condition tonight. Dog owners beware. Some of those treats you give your Furry Friends well they may not be safe for them at all. The manager of the Humane Society in sarasota shared these photos of a dog treat stuck around a dogs mouth.
