So well see this big trough, big dignity jet stream, thats why temperatures as far south as atlanta are only in the 30s and 40s. And heres that area of low pressure thats going to be guided by the jet stream. It will hitch ride on that cold front thats stalled up and move the up the eastern seaboard. Some uncertainty with the exact track of that but nevertheless we do have pretty good idea where that snow will be falling now. So take look at saturday. 5am some flakes moving toward cape may and theyre already in georgetown, delaware. And then the snow moves up toward philadelphia by noon. And as the storm pulls away toward new england etages back down and off the coast by saturday evening. So if youre going out saturday evening obviously the roads are treated there shouldnt be an issue temperatures fall below freezing overnight into sun day morning. So you have to be aware of that. As far as accumulations the most snow will fall closer to that area of low pressure two to 3inches especially interior south jersey. One to two along the coast. Right at the coast. And dover southward two to three. One to two through philadelphia and that will be wet snow a accumulating on the grassy surfaces and anything untreated. Less than an inch toward our northern and western suburb. Not more than a few flake possibly in the lehigh val and the poconos. All about locate with this particular snow. As we look at the overnight temperatures 33 in philadelphia. 20 in the poconos. 26 in pottstown.
