So we in West Philadelphia, in the back l i of homes on washington avenue and ellsworth street. If i take a step out of the way, you can see, crime scene investigators, now laying down evidence markers, searching for more evidence, into a motive and of course the shooter t appears to be trash day in this West Philadelphia neighborhood. And so, police have been focusing their attention into the trash bins in this back alley, where they stumble upon a black, 2014 honda accord, it was stalled, no one was inside, but steps away from that car, outside, on the ground, a man unresponsive lying there bleeding from his chest. Officers on scene returned him to nearby hospital, but he did not survive this shooting. So, what happened exactly . Police dont know just yet. But they have a little help in their investigation. In addition to witnesses, we transported individuals that we know who last spoke to the victim about one hour before we found his body and about an hour and a half before he was pronounced dead at presbyterian hospital. So all police know about the victim at this point is that he is 26 years old, they know he lives in this area, but not this immediate neighborhood. So now, they need to find out what he was doing back here behind these homes at around 2 00 this morning, and who exactly is responsible for his death. You can see, police down there on the other end of the alley still investigating this one. They do tell us that they are lucky enough to have some private surveillance camera footage, that will be helpful in their investigation. They also say witnesses are cooperating and have been taken down to homicide. Karen, thomas . A scene you never want to wake up to. I know youll have update throughout the morning. More breaking news this time out of east oaklane, where a woman is fatally stabbed. Police say it happened around 3 00 this morning on the 6500 block of north tenth street. The 45 year old victim had stabbed wounds to her neck, shoulders and arms, she died at the scene. Now, police were able to make arrest in that case. Weve got breaking news out of montgomery county, we know real serious accident where three people were hurt. You can see the car rolled right there, winding up on it side. They had to cut the roof off to get everybody out. This is the bethlehem pike in springfield around midnight. We know the victims are in the hospital. The road has since been reopened. Talk about a frightening situation, for people in Lehigh County, police say a man keeps approaching young women and not in a friendly way. Reporter well, the city known for its star is quickly becoming known for a guy trying to kidnap young girls off the streets, right in the middle of the day. The latest yesterday, and just three hours after this latest try to get a young woman into a blue car, police put out this alert, linking it with all of the other previous attacks, quote, there have now been multiple incidents throughout the city of bethlehem, police put, on facebook, where the same guy and the same car approached Bethlehem School district students trying to get them in the car. It was midmorning school day yesterday, just before 10 00, just off the main street Moravian College campus where we are this morning, where this black man and a used blue car, hes fiveten, medium to heavy, his car light blue with four doors, grabs the more air yan freshmans arm at first, when she says to the guy dont touch me, he then grabs her hand and doesnt let go, she says, until she led out blood curds link scream. Were like nobody like everybody like nobody walk home. Actually i called my friends that lives in south campus. I asked him if he would walk me home, he said he will just drive me. So i actually ended up getting driven home. It is usually real safe. We dont have any problems. We dont have to worry about these type every situations. We spoke with one of his patients who said she is not surprised the doctors been charged with two counts of indecent assault. A pregnant woman set to give birth today instead recovering in the hospital after being shot during a fight with a neighbor. So this happened 1500 block of rosa lee and oxford circle. Investigators say the 43 year old woman shot a 22 year old woman, hitting her in both the legs. Getting along, arguments that have taken place in the past few weeks, according to police, we know the victim is in stable condition. We dont know what is happened if she had her baby or not. To Mercer County this morning, vigil last night outside the applebees in lawrenceville just before closing monday. Someone walk into the restaurant, shot 23 year old deaf devin smith in the head, smith died from his injuries. Police spent most every yesterday scouring the area with a metal detector, in searching through Surveillance Video to try and track down his killer. The roosevelt boulevard is one of the most dangerous streets in the entire country, and it is to has claimed yet another life. This time it was a 70 year old woman, just trying to cross the street when she was struck and killed yesterday. The driver hit her in the southbound lanes right near tyson avenue.
