The study fount in 2014, daily commuters spend an average of 82 hours in traffic. That means we even beat out los angeles, coming in at 80 hours. As far as gas is concerned, the study says last year commuters wasted 35 gallons in gas. That amounts to 1800. Metros board of directors has a closed meeting reviewing an investigation into how a train flew off the tracks at the smithsonian station august 6th and why that problem that caused it went unfixed for a month. Today, an argue leader, Law Enforcement and a state Police Troopers friends and family will dedicate an overpass to her. The i395 bridge over south glebe road will be called Kathryn Vernon bridge. Vernon died 20 years ago after she pulled someone over for violating hov rules. She was the first woman and first black Virginia State Police Trooper to be killed in the line of duty. We told you right when we went on the air sat 4 30 the monument will not open today because of all of this. The malfunction forced a bunch of team who were inside just before 10 00 last night to walk down. One visitor told us about 50 people were inside at the time. Plus two pregnant women brought down in stair chairs. Elected to do so, that was voluntary. They were not in any distress. Just did not want to run the risk of taking 900 steps to the ground here. Now, police have not said why the teenager brought the gun to school. A new report about grade School Suspension and expulsion in the south.
