Meteorologist adam Joseph Standing by with that exclusive accuweather 7day forecast. Wake up with the action news morning team. Join matt tam david and karen beginning tomorrow morning at 4 00 a. M. Meteorologist adam joseph back with the accuweather forecast. Foggy start tomorrow. It is for some of us wake up to fog every morn. Wait, what day is it . We all will tomorrow morning. Well burn it off in the afternoon. Earlier today a lot of clouds on this monday. Kind of a damp feeling out there but, again, were going to shake that cloud cover as well as those cool temperatures. As we take a look at Spring Mountain one place that does not want to hear about 70s, sunshine or rain for later this week is Spring Mountain. Live on sky6 with it being the holiday a lot of folks out there skiing and snowboarding but you can see the fog in the distance there setting in and i tell you, the ski resorts going to take a hit this week with warm temperatures day and night and rain on top of it. As we take a look at storm tracker6 live double scan, speaking of rain, very light showers well north of the city. Parts of northern Montgomery County bucks county Lehigh Valley but its about to exit and push to the north and east here so some damp roadways, even though the evening rush isnt all that heavy given, again, many of us have the day off today but well continue to say goodbye to these showers and hello to that warmth. Lets chat about it here. Temperatures still cool to the north and west, reading, allentown near 40 degrees. Jumping to 48 philadelphia and 50s down to the south so that warm air trying to push in from the south and the west. This warm front continues to drift through, again, missing most of this rain off to the north here so this wont be collapsing in overnight tonight. In fact, any of those early showers are gone. Areas of fog will expand from the west to the east. 38 in those northern suburbs early tonight, 45 degrees for center city with that southsouthwesterly wind 48 miles an hour. Its really a tale of two seasons here across the country. Whenever you look at the weather typically what happens on the west coast is opposite of the east coast. Its almost a seesaw effect. Jet stream carving through the center of the country dipping very cold weather for the rockies as well as the west, california there are freeze warnings, not good for the crops trying to grow there. But for us High Pressure really starting to pump up just off the east coast here sending that powerful southeasterly ridge and warm southwesterly winds our way moving that jet stream north of quebec. This typical pattern that we see in the summertime, if this was setting up in the summer with 25 degrees above normal temperatures for this week for us if it was in the summer we would be talking about 100 plus degrees. Thats how unusually warm that High Pressure is right now, so as we go into the day tomorrow, again, morning clouds and fog but it will break for some sun in the afternoon and thats whats going to move those temperatures upper 60s to near 70 for philadelphia, cooler at the shore, though, only 50s there and then were going to head well into the 70s on wednesday, 73 philadelphia, near 80 in washington and richmond. But here is the cold coming in and that arrives here on thursday. So, the exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 70s for the next two days, a lot of fog tomorrow morning. Springlike, some sunshine in the afternoon and then sun and high clouds wednesday with that record warmth of 73. And then the pattern just looks, eh, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday thursday friday cool in the 40s with rain at times. Its warmer over the weekend in the 60s but a rain threat both saturday and on and off into sunday and still cloudy on monday, 56 degrees. So, take advantage of the 70s and the sun the next two days because the pattern is yech for the rest of the week. Thanks adam.
