Right now it feels like its 22 in philadelphia. 19 in allentown. Winds overall fairly light. Asas we go through the day its going to be on the chilly side. 35 degrees by 11 oclock. 38 degrees by 1 oclock. This model has 41. Im going 40, not much difference and youll also notice how the sun is coming back as the day goes on. Winds not all that strong. We have an issue tomorrow morning, though. Theres a winter storm watch up in the poconos tomorrow where were looking at three to 6 inches of snow during the day tomorrow. Down south in philadelphia theres also the chance of sloppy weather and icy weather for the morning commute. At least early on before we see sleet and some light snow change over to rain. Chestnut hill east line no problems but Chestnut Hill west line we have an issue, currently suspended because of amtrak wire problems so watch for that coming in. Lets check on this construction on the schuylkill because it sure is causing a jam. Thats because theyre picking up the cones here. Eastbound construction is clear. Westbound construction as we look live at south street, you see how heavy its been here. Ahead we had all traffic forced off at 30th street. We saw them picking up the cones, getting ready to clear all that out and so traffic still flowing in the process right now. On the vine street expressway right now all lanes are opened. No overnight construction this week so at least youre good here on the vine. We do have an Early Morning accident in Chester County. We had a ton of accidents yesterday morning. Its no the that busy so far here. This is cypress street at ways lane, an accident here causing a problem and construction blocks two lanes here in Lawrence TownshipMercer County on i95 southbound and we have issues here in trenton with a water main break theyre patching here so watch for this one. Reporter with the city of philadelphia still recovering from a heart stopping and historic game sunday night, plans are now under way for the massive championship parade that will take place on thursday. You can already see the beginnings of an all out production. Giant speaker boxes and a stage were being set up at the art Museum Monday afternoon. But preparations began over the weekend well before the eagles got their hands on that coveted lombardi trophy. The city quietly put down miles and miles of barricades and hundreds of port a potties. Parking restrictions were also being posted wednesday night to make way for up to 2 million people. Our school is closed that day so were going to have nothing else to do and the birds won so whew were going to celebrate, yeah. Im going to be here super psyched for philly. This is fantastic and im just really excited about the eagles. Reporter the parade will begin in south philadelphia at broad and pattison and will head north likely along broad and then j. F. K. And then the parkway making its way to the art museum. Business will be booming for the owner of city diner at broad and south. Theyhave to bring some extra help in. Eagles fans have been busy snatching up super bowl gear at a break neck pace. The action cam was at modells in south philadelphia yesterday. Employees say super bowl champion parade tshirts hoodies and side line caps were some of the hot ticket items. Everybodys coming in. You think its christmastime but its not. Its actually a celebration for the city. The story was the same at dicks in king of prussia. Employees rushed to keep pace with the demand as merchandise flew off the shelves. It is 5 06 and several eagles players have already said that they will not be participating in the traditional white house visit in honor of the super bowl win. Malcolm jenkins says he does not anticipate going to the celebration. Jenkins has been an outspoken critic of President Trump particularly on up froms criticism, trumps criticism of players who take a knee. Chris long also says he will not be attending and this is a repeat no go for long. He skipped last year when he played for the new England Patriots. Bill cosbys lawyers are now saying they are wrong to accuse prosecutors of withholding evidence in the criminal Sexual Assault case against the comedian. Cosbys legal team filed a motion last month saying that prosecutors only recently disclosed that they had interviewed a former colleague of accuser andrea constand. Marguerite jackson claims constand told her that she was never assaulted but could make it up and sue for money. A judge blocked jackson from testifying during cosbys first trial which ended in a hung jury. Cosbys lawyers now admit they were informed about the interview last year. Storm tracker6 live double scan right now shows you that today isnt one of them. Its cold this morning but we dont have precipitation. Might see a flurry in the poconos. As we take a look outside we have center city and all of our sky scrapers most lit up in green and staying way because we have to wait until thursday for the parade. 25 degrees currently in allentown, 24 in reading, 28 in, philadelphia 27 in wilmington. Just a little bit of wind out there so the wind chill not really much different than the temperatures. You could see how clouds have gotten thicker overnight. There are breaks to the west and we expect to transition from clouds to increasing sun today. Lehigh valley increasing sun less wind but still just about as cold as it was yesterday with a high of 35. Less wind will make it more comfortable. Down the shore milder, a high of 42, clouds to some sun, less wind and in philadelphia increasing sunshine later today, less wind overall and a high of 40 degrees with those winds six to 12 Miles Per Hour that will indeed feel a lot more comfortable. And then overnight tonight more clouds gather in again and well get a low of 28 degrees, so starting out fairly cold tomorrow morning as well but once again, not all that windy. As terms in terms of precipitation, well, tomorrow at 5 00 a. M. We expect to essentially be dry across the region but out to the west there will be some precipitation arriving and between 5 oclock and 7 oclock it looks like it comes into philadelphia, gets all the way over to trenton and you can see how it starts out as snow and the farther south we go a mix of sleet in there as well and then probably more rain the farther south we go. Between 7 oclock and 9 oclock it begins to lift to the north but still we might have some slippery conditions in and around the i95 corridor. After that, we get warmer air coming in. A changeover to rain. And even up in allentown, well start to see that earlier snow begin to melt away and you might still at the midday hours have some sleet mixing in but that should improve as we go through the rest of the afternoon. There you see the rain. Changeover by 4 30 in the afternoon and the whole thing looks like its off the coast by about 9 oclock or so at night. What are we expecting from this . Well, a brief coating to an inch is possible in the i95 corridor before it gets washed away by rain. Oneone to 3inches in the northern and western suburbs. Might take a little bit longer to break up. Up in the poconos looks like its all snow, three to 6 inches. Again thats tomorrow. So, what you get really depends on where you all. Its all rain down to the south, snow mixing with rain eventually in the Center Portion of the region and a lot of these areas may see a lot of melting during the day but mainly snow up north. On thursday, were dry again but it is going to be a day where youll want to bundle up with extra gear and layers. Well see a High Temperature of 34 by 3 oclock, in the 20s by 9 00 if youre going down early and wind chills in the low 20s for the parade on thursday. Investigators say a Vacation Home reported stolen by a texas couple might have actually been repossessed because of the previous owner. Joe and Lonnie Harrison say their one bedroom cabin went missing from madisonville. The prefabricated home was part of property they purchased last year. But they hadnt really been out to check on it since november. Lonnie harrison came back on friday to see the property and said, hey, the house is gone. I didnt see the house. All i saw was blocks and pipes sticking up. The Sheriffs Office says this is probably just bad luck for the harrisons, they are likely victims of the prior owners and financial issues.
