Investigators say a 14yearold boy was plotting to kill his classmates at Uniontown High School near pittsburgh. A search warrant uncovered multiple weapons in the boys bedroom including rifles shot guns machetes and knives. A fellow student alerted authorities. The incident follows two other incidents. Two students were killed during a 15yearold boys rampage in kentucky and a 15yearold girl survived a shooting in texas. State senator daylin leach the original frontrunner remains one of six listed candidates but he had to suspend his Campaign Last month amid allegations of Sexual Misconduct towards an aide. He says hes reflecting on his behavior and apologetic but the Party Chairman says hes hearing from a half dozen others who want shot at this now suddenly opened congressional seat. The party wants leach to drop out. I certainly call for him to withdraw from the race. I stick with that position. I dont think he should be a candidate in the primary for the seventh district seat. A promotion ceremony was held at the Performing Arts Center on the Temple University campus. Three firefighters were posthumously promoted including lieutenant kenneth green and gabriel lee. Matthew letourneau was promoted from lieutenant to captain. He was killed in the line of duty earlier this month fighting a row home fire in north philadelphia. Fire department recruits in wilmington took a traditional run around the city to celebrate the end of their training. Throughout the socalled academy run, recruits made stops at seven different city fire locations. They paused at the home where three firefighters lost their lives in 2016. 17 recruits made it through the intense 13 week training program. Graduation is tomorrow afternoon. The ranks of the Camden CountyPolice Department now include dozens of new officers. 59 officers were sworn in this morning at Camden County college. Lawmakers say the officers will continue the departments focus on Community Policing and work with families to strengthen the city. Carson who has been on crutches since recovering from that surgery, he said that now that hes able to watch the game from the sidelines and actually help out its gotten a little bit easier to digest. He did allow himself a pity party right after the injury happened. Today we heard from carson for the First Time Since that day in los angeles on december 10th. He told us he not only tore his acl but also his lcl on that play, too. He still hopes to return by week one next season. In the meantime hes supporting nick foles as much as he can. As humans we all want to be the competitors that we are and be out there on the field. Every time the offense goes on the field unisons sunday its tough. I love these guys. Its called a low level inversion in the weather world. A little weather 101 for you. When we kind of forecast the weather for you we have to look not only at the surface but even to 5,000 feet and beyond. When we take a look at the temperature profile, thats the colder temperatures. Heres the warmer temperatures so right around 2,000 feet and below, thats where the cold air is stuck right now. Above that layer, we have a lot of warm air but because warm air is lighter than cold air, it cant bust through that so the cold air is settling and we need some wind to mix all of this and get that warm air to come down and thats going to happen during the day tomorrow. In fact as we look at those numbers, 30s right now wilmington, millville. 36 reading, allentown. 36 in trenton. 37 in philadelphia. So, a chilly friday evening on tap but again, pretty quiet here locally and across most of the country. There is a front near saint louis and chicago very limited moisture with this right now and thats the front that comes in sunday morning. So, for tonight temperatures drop back into the 20s pretty much everywhere. The exception philadelphia, dover and the shore in the 30s. So, not as cold as the last few nights under that clear sky. And as you take a look at your saturday, were going to have sunshine through much of the day, some high mid level clouds late in the afternoon but the winds, theyre going to be up tomorrow 30 to 40 miles an hour but its that that wind thats going to help to bring that warm air down. 53 at 1 oclock in the afternoon. 56 degrees at 3 oclock. And staying in the 50s almost to the evening hours tomorrow. Then on sunday, the front closes in so you can see quite a bit of rain here sunday 8 30 in the morning.
