This is where the police first came across the defendant along with a 24yearold woman who was savagely treated who says she was being held continue tiff in captive in a Fourth Floor Hotel room. There are other victims in that possibly as many as three other states. The fbi is said to be assisting. The focus of the criminal charges and investigations is 30yearold seth mull, mull who prides himself on his physique has multiple Facebook Accounts projecting a comforting persona Authorities Say he uses his Online Connections to reach out to women. Authorities say once he meets them he turns vicious controlling. He refers to his victims as his property and ultimately forces the victims to take part in sex orgies and other acts which he films and or forces his victims into prostitution. Reporter in october, Bethlehem Police were called to the Holiday Inn Express where a 24yearold texted she was being held against her will. The female had visible injuries to her neck area and a burn mark from a torch on her back. She reported that mull had choked her to the point of passing out and raped her. Mull also threatened her family and her friends. Reporter in philadelphia, police say mull invited a 25yearold woman to this years made in america concert. And then kept her captive in a room at the marriott on Market Street for four days while attacking her. Authorities in Northampton County say additional women have come forward but believe there are still others out there so traumatized they need professional counseling. If we have young females out there who have experienced this, who know this individual, who have not come forward, you know, we can help them. Reporter well, mull is in custody, has been for about a month now. He is charged with two separate incidents here in Northampton County that one case in philadelphia, apparently investigators in chicago, california several cities in california and hawaii are also looking into his behavior in those cities. Two people died in this crash in wilmington delaware. We first told you about it as breaking news at noon. A total of four vehicles collided on 495 northbound just north of 12th street. The road just reopened at 3 45 this afternoon. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash. Three people are recovering from injuries after a car and a school bus collided in the juniata section of philadelphia. Chopper6 overhead as Police Responded at 6 30 this morning. A 15yearold student the bus driver and a bus attendant were all taken to the hospital. The driver of the car was not injured. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the vehicles to collide here on east wyoming street near tacony creek park. That bus wall headed to the campus of hancock middle school. The fbi says a serial bank robber has struck again. 43yearold Kenneth Reyes allegedly robbed the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union yesterday on the 2100 block east dauphin street. The same man is also wanted for three previous holdups three in philadelphia one at a Republic Bank in wynnewood montgomery county. The fbi is asking for the publics help in locating the suspect. There is a reward for any information that leads to his capture. Some neighborhoods in delaware monitoring aftershocks monitoring for aftershocks following yesterdays earthquake. It was just after 4 30 when the 4. 1 magnitude quake rattled the Delaware Valley. Reporter yeah, rick, i know some people further up north around philadelphia and the Delaware Valley might have just saw some rumbling things like that but down here in little creek thats not the case. They were rocked. We spoke with a lot of neighbors who describe a wild scene. They say it was very scary and they would prefer if it doesnt happen here for a very long time. Just a mile or two away, about 2 miles at the post office. Reporter today nicky of the dutch shop of little creek feels fortunate explaining about 2 miles from his home in his woodworking shop is the suspected location of the epicenter of yesterdays earthquake. The whole house moved, right, and then it kept moving and thats when i started praying like oh, no, i thought my chimneys were going to fall through the roof. Reporter next he ran outside. He describes the local wildlife in a panic. Broke up their patterns, how geese and stuff fly. Thats when i said it must be an earthquake. Reporter others in the one street town fled in fear that their homes would collapse. Everybody come running out the street. Reporter just up the road they too describe the earthquake as something pretty scary. I was in jeans office upstairs and we saw the garage blew up. Reporter today about 25 miles from little creek we caught up with dr. Helen and her partner diane. Their task were you planting says momtories to track potential aftershocks. It was only a magnitude 4. 1 so the aftershocks shouldnt be much bigger than a three. Reporter and why they think the earthquake happened in the first place. Everybody was forced onto 95 so theres still a pretty big delay from newark with speeds of nine and 5 Miles Per Hour. Were trying to recover but still a rough go in the first state. On 95 in pennsylvania typical slowing northbound by penns landing, 15 Miles Per Hour. Over in pennsauken have a crash along 130, 30 southbound by park drive so thats jamming things up as you travel southbound on 130. And weve been watching this, a crash on the northbound side of the boulevard extension now off to the side but still extra heavy as you come off the schuylkill expressway. Theres the accident right there now on the shoulder. And theres a crash on the shoulder or there was here on 422 westbound approaching 23, luckily it just cleared out. One thing this year that i know that a lot of performers are happy about is the weather and how warm it is because youve got a lot of performers who arent wearing a whole lot so to speak, they dont have these beautiful costumes that they do not want to cover etch and these the are on Edge Movement dancers from oaks, pennsylvania, this is their seventh year in the parade in a row. They always do a fantastic time and as you can see they got their dancing down, theyre doing a little preview for us tonight but again, theyre just one of hundreds of acts that will be in the parade tonight. Tommy hide bright and cara stevens got to go to Jefferson University rather they took on teams from Maris College and montclair state university. The goal to completely redesign a Wedding Dress. They were told to use as much of the original fabric as possible and they were only given a 50 budget to come up with something brand new. This is their final winning creation. The whole experience was more than they could ever have imagined. One thing well decided we definitely didnt want to do is have it resemble a Wedding Dress. We tried to manipulate and change the lace so it didnt look as much of a Wedding Dress. Im very proud of us. Yeah. Very proud of like how hard we worked and that everything really paid off all the hours that we put in to making this. All right. Quite original project runway winner Leann Marshall helped gma design this unique challenge. In collingswood new Jersey Middle School students discovered theres a Science Behind the game of hockey and what better person to teach it than a member of the philadelphia flyers. Flyers winger made a special appearance at Collingswood Middle School for a handson learning experience. It was part of the nhl stem based future goals initiative. Action news continues with new information on the love lost lawsuit filed against eagles star fletcher cox. Plus, the maker of a Popular Video game is suing a delaware teen for allegedly cheating his way to victory but the boys mother is not having it. Why she claims the Company Actually violated her sons rights by filing suit. And heroism on display. A military veteran turned septa driver dives in front of a bus to protect a toddler. What he says helped him make the save. But we begin with the latest on Michael Flynn. The former National Security adviser was the First Trump Administration official to be charged as part of Robert Muellers investigation. And the first to plead guilty. The special counsel charged flynn with knowingly lying to the fbi about the nature of his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak. According to documents, flynn contacted kislyak the same day the Obama Administration imposed new sanctions on russia for their election meddling. The prosecutor represented that flynn was given instructions by the Transition Team to engage in these conversations with the russians and then debrief them about the bow his conversations after the fact. One of the senior Transition Team officials flynn was communicating with was the president s soninlaw Jared Kushner. A coast confidante told abc news that flynn felt abandoned by trump in recent weeks and made the decision to make the plea deal within the last 24 hours. He could face up to five years in prison. President trump has yet to respond to the guilty plea or flynns cooperation with the special counsel. We turn now to a septa driver who saved a life while on his route last night. The navy veteran dove in front of a bus to save a toddler and today we got to see that act of heroism for the first time. Action News Reporter Trish Hartman talked to the navy veteran today and shes live outside the Frankford Transportation Center with this incredible story t wonderful to hear. Reporter monica, if you have young kids you know how easily they can slip away from you. Well, one septa driver says he was in the right place at the right time to save a toddler who was about to run into oncoming traffic. On november 8th, septa driver bob atrot was driving his normal route with a full bus and was helping a passenger in a wheelchair on the sidewalk at frankford and hellerman. It was around 5 00 p. M. Rush hour. I heard somebody in the background say, oh, my god. Surveillance video from inside the bus shows a mother carrying a baby and a stroller with a toddler walking in front of her. The little girl then runs out in front of the bus towards a busy frankford avenue. Another camera angle shows him lungeing and diving in front of his bus to stop her. We caught up with him at the Frankford Transportation Center. I seen the baby right about here, i tried grabbing her and i walked around or dove and i jumped, got about right about here and i cradled her right about here. Hes been on the job for 12 years but before his time at septa he spent four years in the navy as a search and rescue swimmer. I think that the training that i had in the military helped me do what i did. Part of his training was to rescue. If he would have hesitated just for a second the circumstances would have been totally different. He says it wasnt just his training but also his twoyearold grandson that made his instincts kick in. I was really thinking about my grandson cause he was just that age. Now, he says the mother and child left the scene quickly after this all happened. He didnt even get their names. He says he would love to know how theyre doing. He also says that when he got back onto the bus the passengers some of whom witnessed the whole thing clapped and cheered. Reporting live in frankford Trish Hartman channel6 action news. Rick. Thank you trish. Authorities set down a philadelphia nightclub after a deadly shooting there last month. A 37yearold man was killed outside of a lounge in hunting park back on november 12th. Two others were wounded in the gunfire. That was the third murder outside the club since january of 2015. Well, today the department of licenses and inspections said it ordered the lounge to close for violating the terms of its license. Police in chester trying to figure out how a dead man wound up on the roof of a home here today. Officers were called to the 2300 block of providence avenue just after 10 00 this morning for reports of a man on top of an abandoned residence here. When Police Arrived they found 33yearold adam hoffman face down on the roof with his legs hanging off the side. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there are no signs of foul play but the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on his death is asked to contact chester police. A former teacher from Mercer County is facing a number of charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16yearold student. Alycia reddy was arrested in baltimore maryland today, the alleged incident happened at a park in Solebury Township last spring. At the time the 28yearold was employed at the Pennington School in pennington, new jersey. Solebury police learned of the assault last week. Reddy is currently a teacher in maryland. She is awaiting extradition to pennsylvania. Part of a home in elsmere, delaware has been condemned following this crash this morning. A car slammed into the porch of the house near clifton and marion avenues about 11 30. New Castle County Police say the driver was not hurt. Its not clear why the car ran off the road but investigators believe drugs or alcohol may have been a factor. The front porch has been declared unsafe but the home itself is fine. A group of student volunteers were on a mission to help homeless pets. Today the student run emergency housing unit of philadelphia took a tour of the mount zion united holy church. Its a potential site of a future shelter where animals would be welcome along with their owners. These volunteers believe about 15 percent of the Homeless Population has a pet and that a theyre trying to raise money to purchase the building that would meet their needs and they started a go fund me page with that goal in mind.
