Over on 95, work in delco has cleared as has the work that was closing the ramp from 95 northbound to Bridge Street but dont forget that Bridge Street itself is closed until tomorrow afternoon in frankford for some construction. Thank you, matt. Breaking overnight a fight between a man and a woman near Drexel University turns deadly when a third person armed with a gun intervenes. Action News ReporterJeanette Reyes is live where this happened overnight along the 3500 block of lancaster avenue. Jeanette. Reporter well, matt this was an argumen that spiraled out of control. A 21yearold man is dead this morning and an arrest has been made and were told the suspect is being questioned by police as we spek. This is whats left of the scene here. Around the 3500 block of lancaster avenue. This happened around 11 40 last night. Police say a man and woman were arguing inside of a pizza shop here. That argument continued outside. Another man intervened and shot the arguing man in the chest three times. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after. Drexel University Campus police first responded after hearing those gunshots and quickly made an arrest. Now, we are told again that suspect is being questioned by police. We just learned he does have a permit to carry. We do see some cameras here in the area that might reveal some additional clues as to what happened just before those gunshots were fired. Okay, thank you, jeanette. And now to a developing story. Two teenagers are accused of stealing a car and then leading police on a chase that resulted in a fiery crash on i95. Both of these 16yearolds have been tak o Childrens Hospital of philadelphia. Action News ReporterKatherine Scott is live there with the latest information we know about all of this. Good morning, katherine. Reporter good morning, tam. And so far police havent said what charges these two teenagers face. They were taken here to Childrens Hospital. They had various injuries but they were both in stable condition. Lets go to video from that scene in south philadelphia. You can see the fiery crash there right there on the ramp. It was really going there for about 15, 20 minutes. Firefighters put it out around 1 00 a. M. It was in the northbound 95 at the exit ramp to the airport but police say this all began in tinicum township with two 16yearolds stealing a car. Somehow they got on officers radar because a brief police chase ensued. Police say it appeared the 16yearold driver lost control of the car and then careened into a concrete barrier. The fire quickly broke out and it spread. The 16yearold driver wasnt wearing a seat belt. He had head injuries and cuts and burns on his wrists. The 16yearold passenger had facial cuts and bruises. Both were taken to Childrens Hospital in stable condition. And this morning the investigation into that crash remains under way. Were live in university city, Katherine Scott, channel6 action news. Katherine, thank you for that. And a philadelphia man is under arrest wanted both for robberies and the Sexual Assault of a child. Investigators say the 18yearold suspect forced a boy down an alley way on east pleasant avenue in East Mount Airy and of sexually assaulted him. Days earlier and blocks apart police say the same suspect was behind two armed robberies on East Washington lane and chew avenue. Police have not released the name of the suspect. Time is now 5 36. That ramp is partially blocked. Again, that should open by 6 oclock. And as i pull in the waze app elsewhere on 33 in east windsor, so this is farther east reports of a crash close to the new jersey turnpike. Police dashcam video shows troopers in connecticut rescuing a man trapped inside of a burning car. The fiery crash happened on the side of the interstate in middlebury. The officers with helped from a few strangers pulled the driver out of the vehicle. It was real work because he had become wedged under the dashboard and the steering wheel.
