Police say the girls father told the grandmother to secure the gun when he rushed to work so she put it in the closet with no luck. The grandmother hid the gun after the shooting. It is unclear how the man ended up in the truck, but rescuers have a stretcher on hand. Theyre in the truck and we have seen the man move. So that gives us an indication that hes at least alive. But we dont know the persons condition right now. New this morning, a deadly crash in south jersey left two people dead. A headon collision happened late last night in morris river township, Cumberland County. Reporter police say the medics eventually got the full story, that the little girl was sitting on her leg when the gun went off. She has three gunshot wounds which came from one gun. It went through her thigh, through her calf. Reporter charges for both the father and the grandmother include Reckless Endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
