The tail end of this is now in baltimore and it does look like this will be done probably by about 9 oclock or maybe 10 00 over by the coast and sooner than that in philadelphia. Temperatures kind of zip by but theyre mild right now in most spots. Colder up in the northern and western suburbs. The temperatures are going to be a story today, though. 52 degrees by 7 oclock with some of that rain still around. By noon, 55 and then we get a high of 56 a little after lunchtime but after that cooler air starts sweeping in from the northwest. By 3 oclock were at 50. By 5 oclock, 46. And by 7 oclock, 42 so an early afternoon high and then the temperatures tumble today. And then of course that sets us up for a chillier thanksgiving. Dinnerrer looks good. Were looking live at the schuylkill at gulph mills and eastbound traffic headed towards the blue route moving fine right now. Expect it to be jammed up later. For now youre good to go right now on the schuylkill. In upper merion we found a problem, a disabled vehicle on Village Drive at goddard boulevard. In phoenixville a new accident coming in to us right now here on gay street at Second Avenue involving a vehicle that just slammed into a tree so crews are responding to the scene right now. Watch for this one coming in to us in phoenixville, thats new. In tinicum township we had an accident here with an overturned vehicle. Some unjust flipped right over. There were injuries on the scene, ems workers. Now theyve left the scene now. This accident is cleared here on hog island road at tinicum road but just be careful. Weve seen already a couple bad accidents. Roads are a little wet but it doesnt take much. Live in new jersey, thats 42. Northbound traffic is moving just fine and creek road has been kind of slow from 42 southbound to creek road because of construction thats out there. You know, im flying out from this airport later on this afternoon and if youre anything like me, youre thinking, ah, the lines wont that be bad, ill make sure i pack efficiently. It will be that bad, it will be that busy. I want to show you the departure screen. So far im not seeing any delays. That is the good news. However, the long lines are almost kind of making up for that. So, my photographer is going to show you where it begins and where it ends. If youve been to the airport here, it will give you a better idea. So, it starts right at security checkin and then at one point it went all the way down to where the bridge is, so it kind of comes and goes. There are some good moments and others where its winding around the corner. So, now, about 400,000 people will be flying out of Philadelphia International airport. The busiest airports will be chicago, los angeles and atlanta so keep that in mind in youre landing in any of those airports. Overall air travel is up 3 percent compared to last year. Aaa says its mostly due to an increase in Consumer Confidence but also tickets were relatively speaking pretty affordable compared to previous years. And new this morning, a violent wreck in southwest philadelphia. A driver hit a parked car with such force that it flipped onto its roof. As for the rain, between now and the 9 oclock, you can see how we really start to clear out. There might even be some sunshine coming back especially in the northern and western suburbs. And then more sun as we go later into the morning and into the afternoon. So, a quick transition from the wet cloudy stuff to more bright conditions. Temperatures are going to be a little bit changeable today, though. 53 degrees by 8 oclock, 54 by 10 oclock. By noon, 55 with in high of 56 shortly afternoon in philadelphia and then the temperatures drop. Were down to 50 by 3 oclock. Maybe even the upper 40s and mid 40s by 6 oclock. The northern and western suburbs, youre going to get highs probably in the 50 today, too, but that may be over the next three, four hours by lunchtime you may already in these areas be starting to drop. 51 is todays high in allentown, 56 in philadelphia, 56 in millville and down the shore 55. It may take until about 2 oclock before your numbers down the shore to begin to tumble as that cool air comes from from northwest down to the shore. Traveling today, up in boston youre going to have some rain by 1 oclock this afternoon, still hanging in there so that could be a little bit of an issue. As we go down to the Southern States though it looks like clear sailing if youre flying down to jacksonville tallahassee or atlanta. More in the same in the midwest. During the height of the evening rush will probably be the worst and thats because you mix the every day volume with people going back to work and people traveling so be expecting a lot of heavy traffic on monday as well and thats something you dont think of because a lot of people are back to work then. Reporter you know, not crowds so much but its definitely starting to get busier and its going to get very busy as the morning goes on. If you take a look right now here at 30th street station, you can see that its picked up from the last time that we talked. However, not those huge crowds that were here last night and they are expected here later on today and here at 30th street station they are preparing for a surge of holiday travelers. Thirtieth street station is amtraks third busiest station nationally. They operate roughly 120 trains per day in pennsylvania with more than 6 million riders but theyre adding trains and seats at their major hubs to accommodate holiday travelers. Last year during their thanksgiving travel period amtrak carried more than 760,000 customers nationally and theyre expecting similar numbers this year. Weve been speaking to passengers here. Some are here earl to beat the crowds or because the ticket was less expensive or even to get an early jump on the holiday. One father we spoke to says the train is just easier for his daughter. The Company Reportedly covered up the breach which affected 57 million accounts for the past year by paying off the hackers. The Ride Sharing Service says passengers technically dont have to worry, theres no evidence that their compromised info has been used for fraud. Drivers however for the company are being offered free credit monitoring and Identity Theft protection. Uber has fired its chief Security Officer and a deputy.
