Back here at home republicans in congress pushing hard for their tax bill but running into real questions about how much the bill will cost whether middle class families will benefit over time. Well, after the democratic sweep in the electionses earlier this week republicans know they need a win here. They have to pass tax reform. Republicans are promising relief to middle class americans but according to one new analysis while taxes on average would go down initially, in ten years one in four americans would end up paying more taxes than they do now and were learning more about what this bill really costs, the Nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office analysis is in and this is 200 billion over budget. Surpassing that limit required if they want to pass this bill with just republican support. In total this bill raises the deficit 1. 7 trillion. Yeah a real math problem right there. One of the ways were looking to solve it bring the Obamacare Repeal back and could complicate things. Reporter to help save costs some are floating of getting rid of the Obamacare Mandate that all americans have insurance. That could help save 300 billion but it could also leave 13 million more americans uninsured over the next decade. Bringing that back. The senate will introduce theirs today and could be different from what the house is doing. Reporter while House Republicans scramble to pass this by thanksgiving the senate will release their own version. These two bills are expected to differ significantly and that creates a real political dilemma. Look ultimately any difference also have to be worked out and republicans are up against their own ticking clock here if they want to get all of this done by the end of the year. Two of the men are in for theft and drug charges, but one of them 20yearold Dylan Ferguson the youngest considered the most dangerous. He is accused of murder and was put on the states most wanted list. In july 2016, Actor Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted my son. Reporter Heather Unruh claiming the actor bought her son drink after drink at a nantucket bar and groped him calling a him a sexual predator and criminal. Spacey stuck his hand inside my sons pants and grabbed his genitals. This was completely unexpected. And my sons efforts to shift his body to remove spaceys hand were only momentarily successful. The violation continued. My son panicked. He froze. A concerned woman quickly came to my very shaken sons side and asked if he was okay. Obviously she had seen something and she knew that he was not. She told him to run. And he did. He ran as fast as he could. Reporter she says he woke up his sister and together they called their mom. Nothing could have prepared my son for how that Sexual Assault would make him feel as a man. It harmed him and it cannot be undone. Reporter unruh says her son did not report the incident out of embarrassment and fear but has since changed his mind. No criminal charges are warranted. So amy, lets bring in dan abrams and larry hackett. We use the phrase Sexual Misconduct going so beyond that seeing more and more victims, theyre pursuing criminal charges but havent seen any actual arrests now. Do you think that will change . Yeah i mean if youre Harvey Weinstein right now you have to be very nervous based on the pressure that the new York Police Department is putting on the d. A. To file charges here. But i think part of the reason youre seeing so many more potential criminal cases, criminal investigations is statute of limitations meaning people arent now talking about things that happened in the 70s and the 80s. Theyre talking about things that happened last year. Two years ago, six months ago. No statute of limitations problems either in criminal or civil. And so as a result youve got a much more active situation when it comes to these investigations and not the excuse of saying sorry, theres nothing we can do. Speaking to that obviously in addition to the reports about kevin spacey and west side story ed westwick. The dam has broken. Wondering whether the weinstein situation would change things its obvious it has, a combination of people seeing the activity of that weinstein perpetrated upon people and saying that happened to me thats a crime, im going to the officials number one, number two, the degree of courage theyre being given others are coming forward. I think, though this is just the beginning. Just because its been a month or six weeks doesnt mean that people have necessarily screwed up enough courage to come forward. It takes some people a lot of time and saw that yesterday in boston. I think theres going to be more and more as people get that sense of proportion and that sense of courage to come forward. The court of Public Opinion is one thing. A courtroom is another. How do you go about proving these allegations . Corroborating evidence. Meaning these cases, people love to say oh its just a he said she said or he said he said. Not true. Very often what you have is corroborating evidence. What are those things emails and texts from the time friends who were there when it happened or immediately thereafter. So anything you have that can back up the account becomes very important in ray courtroom because particularly when youre talking about some of the older allegations, a d. A. Will want to say, all right, how can we prove this ask i believe you but how are we going to be able to prove this and that sort of corroborating evidence becomes critical. And, larry, lets talk about how the Entertainment Industry moves forward. We know it happens in every industry but in the Entertainment Industry the rules are looser. You dont have a corporate structure. How do they figure it out and make things better . I think some the people there, whether its leaders at studios or people with great influence will have to come forward and say we need to change the culture. You pointed out something that is right. When you watch an awards show it looks like theyre all friends, its basically a town full of freelancers who get together for different projects here and there. There is no hr department. There is no one to complain to. No central bureaucracy that handles hollywood and thats why these things are allowed to fester and go on. Somebody needs to figure out how to do it. Its starting to affect the industry and nowhow people perceive this town. If they dont it will be bad for everybody. Awards season is coming up. Those shows the last thing on their minds. From the hundreds of thousands of visitors weve seen and even just his progress in growth has been remarkably easy and textbook which is a blessing. How involved has april been . Her little baby boy . Well shes been an amazing mother. Shes obviously very in tune to him and protective and allowing him to take on that independent trait that comes from his father. How soon jordan are we from hearing about another pregnancy . I feel like we just got this one over with so lets give it a break but i have to ask. Oh, i mean no, yeah i think weve got the fear of god in all of us. Yeah. But it seems like you guys still have a great time. When i was on set you guys have a great time on set. Listen if your whole life you dream to be an actor and you get there and you get this show and, you know if were not having fun every day at work what are we doing it for . Whats the point . [ laughter ] more psychiatrist i diagnose everybody and tell everybody whats wrong with them. Oh my goodness . What happens when you go to a doctor and a doctor is like well, ellen no, no no to. I got this. I got this. I dont have time to see doctors. I work too much. [ laughter ] you know ellen, your character has inspired so many people. So many people especially women to become doctors, to go into other aspects of medicine and heres a little tribute. Okay. To you. Take a look. Ellen, thank you so much. You helped inspire me to become a doctor and to become the strong and independent woman in this traditionally male dominant field. I think that the women of greys anatomy are like modernday superheroes. I played a nurse on greys anatomy for 14 years now. It was such an inspiration to be on set. I looked into being a real nurse and, yeah i went ahead and got my masters degree in nursing and here i am. Ive been watching greys anatomy since i was 15 years old. I knew that i wanted to be a surgeon and now im going to medical School Next Year and just continuing to pursue my dream to be a doctor and to be like meredith grey. Oh. [ applause ] hey, you guys. You know im emotional. I mean thats you know how so first of all, to play a doctor you realize how precious life is and how lucky we are just to be living and breathing and our heart beating every day then to have that on top of it is really moving and i dont know how thank you. I dont know how i couldnt be thrilled every day just to get the opportunity to touch people the way we touch them is really a blessing. Thank you all for supporting us. Thank you.
