But domestic concerns will not evaporate just because the president is away. In fact, before leaving for this trip, the president slammed the Justice Department for not investigating Hillary Clinton and the democrats. Critics say the president is trying to distract from the russia investigation including new questions about this meeting with a Foreign Policy adviser named George Papadopoulos who is now cooperating with federal investigators. This morning, the Trump Administration faces lingering questions about this march 2016 Campaign Meeting where according to court filings, Foreign Policy adviser George Papadopoulos told the group including President Trump and now attorney general Jeff Sessions he had connections with russia that could help arrange a meeting between trump and vladimir putin. I dont remember much about that meeting. It was a very unimportant meeting. It took place a long time dont remember much about it. The owners are being asked to hand over cell phone records and emails. They were chosen based on their public statements about either kaepernick or the player protest during the National Anthem. It was just a brief hearing but now Court Documents reveal what led police to him and why he faces several charges including tampering with evidence and aggravated murder. This morning, Jeffrey Scullin jr. Behind bars. Bond is going to be set at 1 million. Reporter charged with murdering a beloved ohio teacher just days before he was set to marry her daughter. Somebodys been attacked in my house. Reporter police say scullin made that frantic 911 call on october 23rd after he, his fiancee and her father returned from dinner to the home they all shared near cleveland. Scullin telling dispatchers he found his future motherinlaw Melinda Pleskovic bleeding on the floor. We found her in the kitchen. Shes not moving. Reporter but investigators believe before that dinner scullin shot and stabbed her to death. Days later after friends say he acted as a pallbearer at pleskovics funeral on what was supposed to be be his wedding day police made their arrest. Court documents saying a large tactical knife was found with scullins dna and pleskovics blood on the blade. Investigators also accuse the 20yearold of making a false report about someone trying to break into their home just days before the murder. Someone just tried to walk into my house. Fake 911 calls, being a pallbearer at a funeral, all of these things where people think theyre sort of faking other people out clearly Law Enforcement will see through. The luxury carmaker bmw is announcing a major recall, a million cars and suvs with owners being told to park them outside. Its due to the risk of fires under the hood, and its affecting a number of models. Adrienne has the details. Dpri. Yeah, this is huge. The national Highway Traffic Safety Administration telling abc news its focus is Public Safety and it wants to hear from any bmw owners who have had fires. This recall affects one in five of the bmws on the road. This morning, bmw issuing a massive recall. The federal government announcing that bmw has now issued two separate recalls for some models manufactured from 2006 to 2011 by the german automaker both due to fire risks. Those recall as affecting a million bmws. One recall involves the heater for the positive crank case ventilation valve. The roar involves wiring and and electrical connections in the system that involves heating and airconditioning. It is terrible business practice for consumers to have complained, shown evidence of fires in their car and have bmw ignore those problems or make them try and go away. Reporter the national Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the affected cars can even ignite if theyre being driven. Earlier this year, abc news did an investigation with abc station as cross the country looking into reports of parked car fires. We found over three dozen cases where the luxury automobiles had caught fire while parked. 12 of those cases were subject to one or both of the new recalls. The people who live here got out after their parked bmw caught fire in their garage. There was snap, crackle and pop and black smoke coming out. Reporter with bmws reputation for excellence and nearly 5 million bmws on the road, the company says fires are extremely rare and could be related to a number of factors unrelated to product defects such as improper maintenance. And in a statement they elaborated, the safety of our customers is a top priority. We understand the series nature a vehicle fire which is why were taking appropriate steps to repair our customers vehicles.
