When we spoke with federal investigator its by phone they wouldnt confirm what the search warrant was about nor the last one late last month but say theyre aware of certain activity happening here. Their investigation is ongoing and they know about the suspicious long lines that form outside of the clinic every morning. Today our crews filmed as another line formed with people peering. Its ridiculous. Reporter despite the federal raid on the 23rd the search warrant executed here today we spoke with a patient who vows theres nothing ill leap happening here. He says theres plenty of screenings done before you can get a prescription here. They verify with the hospital. They dont give you a lot of tablets, only give you so many tablets. Nobody can just walk in here and get a prescription. Reporter we asked him about the doctor, the owner. Back in august he was arrested by u. S. Marshals on a civil contempt charge but threatened the deputies on his way to jail and got hit with more charges after that. But he wants to vouch for the doctor as well as the practice. Why do you think the dea, the fbi the local police upper moreland township. Why do you think theyre doing all this. Because some people abuse it and theyre coming down hard on doctors period in the Pain Management area. Reporter okay, i did speak with a member of the dea today. They told me that the only reason this place is still opened is because theres an Ongoing Investigation and that again is why it remains opened. Alcohol is believed to be involved in a crash between a car and a school bus in new castle. The action cam was on the scene as police investigated about 6 30 this morning. Officers say a 19yearold woman behind the wheel of a mazda crashed into the back of a bus that was stopped waiting to pick up students. Now, the crash happened at the intersection of boxwood road and ash hers boulevard. It took rescuers about 30 minutes to pull the teenaged driver from that mazda. She and the bus driver are both hospitalized now for nonlifethreatening injuries and there were no students on the bus when the crash happened. There is new video of a violent robbery at a south philadelphia business. The images from the oregon discount market show the suspects walk inside pointing a large knife at the employee. He threatened the worker and demanded cash. Investigators say he spent time outside casing the store before committing this crime on the afternoon of october 10th. If you recognize the suspect or know anything, youre asked to call police. An Emotional Army Sergeant Bowe bergdahl learned today he will not face any time in jail. The decision from a military judge comes after bergdahl had already pled guilty to walking off his base in afghanistan back in 2009 sparking a massive military search for him. Bergdahl ended up getting captured and tortured by the taliban spending five years in captivity. The 31yearold faced up to life in prison but instead he has been released on a dishonorable discharge. Given a reduction in rank and he must for fit 1,000 of pay for 10 months. During the election campaign, President Donald Trump called bergdahl a no good traitor who should have been executed. We turn now to the latest on a shooting that rocked the Port Richmond neighborhood. Last night we learned two people were found dead in an suv parked on the 3500 block of amber street. It was not a random crime but a murdersuicide. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott has more. Reporter there were some family members here earlier who were too distraught to talk. Multiple neighbors say that this man and woman had a tumultuous relationship and are devastated it came to this we heard two shots. Reporter shots fired inside this suv in Port Richmond around 10 15 p. M. At first, some neighbors didnt realize what had happened. It sounded like firecrackers. Reporter soon he went to check out the sources of the sound and found a man and a woman shot inside the honda crv in an apparent murdersuicide. I wasnt looking for no gun. I was just worried about they safety thats it. Reporter the vehicle was parked on the 3500 block of amber street. Police believe a 49yearold man sitting in the passenger seat shot the 37yearold woman in the drivers seat before turning the gun on himself. Both were suffering from gunshot wounds to their heads. Medics pronounced them both dead at the scene. Reporter neighbors say they had a troubling past. Yesterday they were seen arguing in the street. Police say this investigation is active and ongoing with the homicide unit. In Port Richmond, Katherine Scott, channel6 action news. Well, police in Bristol Township have released new information about a man accused of trying to lure a little girl into his car yesterday. Investigators now say this is the vehicle the suspect was driving when he drove up to a 10yearold girl and told her to get in the car. This happened on glen rose of a near melinda drive as the child got off of her school bus. Police say the man in his 20s had a tattoo on his left biceps and a thick indian accent. That was driving this silver or gray chevy impala with dark rims. Fortunately the little girl ran away. If you have any information about this vehicle or the attempted luring call police. In chester, the 1000 block of Potter Street is now quiet but this morning it was the scene of a scary emergency. Police say an eightyearold was rushed to the hospital after suffering an electrical shock just before 8 oclock. Were still working to find out the boys condition. Police say an upper darby man put a loaded gun into a babys cradle. Ryan scott is facing several charges including Reckless Endangerment stemming from the incident on pembroke lane in east lansdowne. His exgirlfriend told police scott came to her house on tuesday and hid the gun which was stolen in the childs bassinet. Two officers say they found scott trying to get into the house again later that day and thats when they arrested him. Well, police in Delaware County are investigating an accident that injured a pedestrian in sharon hill this morning. It happened around 6 30 near chester pike and cherry streets. Officials are not saying much about the accident or the victim except the paramedics were called out to the scene but you can see a large hole in the minivans windshield there from the impact. This happened near haddon avenue and mlk boulevard around 1 00 this afternoon. Though neither the driver or any of the 25 commuters on board were hurt, nj transit says service had to be stopped between 36th and waterfront Entertainment Complex while police were investigating. Montgomery countys former District Attorney has now filed suit against bill cosby accuser andrea constand. The blaze at a Propane Company sent flames bill bog leg into the night sky and triggered five blasts. Witnesses told authorities their homes look and they saw flaming shrapnel flying from the scene. The business was closed at the time. No one was hurt. A number of nearby homes and businesses were evacuated as a precaution. Officials say when the pilot realized his engine failed mid flight he decided to guide it down into a pond on a Las Vegas Golf course instead of trying to make it back to the airport which was near several buildings. Now the pilot says he didnt know if anyone was playing on the course at the time but he knew nobody would be in the water of course. The pilot and his passenger were able to climb out of the plane before it sunk. Amazingly they walked away from this with just minor injuries. Wow. An ambulance was stolen in ohio while a patient was inside. The driver led police on a chase and part of it was caught on camera. sirens . The keys were left in the ignition when man jumped in the drivers seat. A medic was tending to rain shower activity pennsylvania. This was back in october when the ambulance took off moving. Dayton police are seen trying to catch up and eventually they do. Several officers pull that suspect out and a 44yearold has been charged with kidnapping and on the offenses. A Police Officer is being called a hero for saving a little girls life. In this grainy video you can see her frantic parents begging for help as she stopped breathing on a new york city subway platform. An officer grabbed the baby and started performing cpr. Within the next minute the child who is just shy of her first birthday started breathing again. She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay. Big talkers now. If you tried checking President Donald Trumps twitter account last night from 6 50 to 7 01 p. M. And you got this message that the page doesnt exist any, heres what went down. No, the president wasnt hacked, his account wasnt deactivated, he didnt take it down, someone else did. Turns out that person was a twitter employee who pulled the stunt on their very last day with the social media company. So for 11 minutes the president s account was down. Once he was back online and tweeting again, the president wrote about it calling the culprit a rogue employee saying i guess the world must finally be the word must finally be getting out and having an impact. Now, twitter government as it calls itself tweeted out an explanation saying that the person worked in customer support, theyve now launched a full review and theyre updating security measures to make sure that Something Like this doesnt happen again. Ready for this one . This is altoona gynecologist says shes been inundated with calls from men trying to set up appointments, yes, men. Shes an ob gyn. So why are all of these guys trying to get an appointment with the doctor. Well, apparently they heard that shes now certified to prescribe medical marijuana. The doc says her phone has been ringing offer the hook and its primarily men on the line like most gynecologists she treats women exclusively. But some better news right outside our front door at channel6. City avenue southbound has reopened at monument road. That crash that had it blocked for a little while is now towed out of the way. Everything is back in business, although busy of course along city avenue. In kennett township Chester County watching a bad crash, a vehicle struck a pole along burroughs run road at cedarwood lane so thats a good spot to avoid. We have been telling you about that flipped over vehicle in radnor township along newtown road at abrahams lane. Church road an alternate around that. But things are congested in that area, just 10 Miles Per Hour there along conestoga road nearby. Of course volume is kicking in in a lot of spots. There on the pennsylvania turnpike westbound in Chester County, we had an issue up ahead by 29, malvern, the ez pass exit. Everything is opened there now but still some speeds in the teens as you come west of valley forge. And elsewhere on the turnpike slow on the eastbound side near norristown, just 16 Miles Per Hour there as well. Springfield township watching a new crash along stenton avenue at paper mill road but our one in willow grove along 611 easton road at maryland road has cleared out and in East Norriton by creature comforts veterinary hospital everything is reopened along Germantown Pike at trooper road. That crash, too, is cleared out of the way and 70 Miles Per Hour on the northbound side of the nex headed up toward the Lehigh Valley or the poconos for the weekend youre good to go. A serious crash in radnor township, Delaware County. Chopper6 over the scene just a short time ago. A car completely flipped onto its roof and its contents scattered across the road. Dann cuellar just arrived on the scene at newtown road at abraham road. Dann what can you tell us. Reporter well, monica, the scene was just cleared here on newtown road and abrams lane but police are continuing their investigation into what may have started as a shoplifting incident. Heres what we know right now. Police say at about 3 30 this afternoon an officer had stopped a gold sedan occupied by three women for a Motor Vehicle violation. As the officer was walking towards the car on conestoga road the driver took off at a high rate of speed. There was no police chase. But a few minutes later they got a report that the car had crashed into another vehicle and flipped over on newtown road near abrams lane. When they arrived two women were still in the car, a third had fled on foot but they caught up with her and took her into custody. Two of the women suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital to be checked out. As you may have seen from chopper6 there was a lot of merchandise scattered on the road, items that fell out of trash bags like sheets still in packaging. Police are investigating reports that the women might have been involved in shoplifting. Thats the word theyre getting which of course, may explain why the driver took off at a high rate of speed after being stopped for a Motor Vehicle violation. Its something that police are looking into as part of this Motor Vehicle accidents in which the driver lost control, struck a black suv and then flipped over on newtown road shutting down the traffic here thats passing through abrams ro
