It is gloomy out there and a little bit chillier than were used to but its friday. It is friday. Yeah. And maybe the weekend will be better. Lets get the latest now from meteorologist adam joseph who is outside with no coat today, though. Hey, adam. I call this refreshing. A lot of people call it cool and chilly. It is cloudy with an easterly wind and temperatures closer to where we should be for this time of year. Right now 65 in philadelphia. New york city 64 and baltimore. 73 degrees in pittsburgh so theres warmer air to the west and that will be puncturing in here as we go deeper into the weekend but as you can see the clouds they have been locked in all day long and theres a little trough, just a little front, little Atmospheric Energy down to our south and east bringing a couple showers to the coastal communities of delaware, maybe cape may, down to virginia and that could spill a couple of showers our way late tonight but overall this evening on a friday night, temperatures dont move all that much. They drop by a degree or two between 7 oclock and 11 oclock. Again, cool, cloudy with a low temp only going to 64 tonight which is actually close to 10 degrees above average and as we go into the weekend, especially on sunday, this is 3 oclock in the afternoon, signs of summer along with humidity back into the 80s for the east coast. Well talk about all those changes and monday will be much brighter than the other this weekend, alicia well have all those details coming up in that full accuweather forecast. Adam thank you. President donald trump had tough words for iran today about its nuclear ambitions. He called the country a rogue regime and the worlds greatest sponsors of terror. He is now calling for more sanctions and hes pushing congress to make changes to the Current Nuclear deal. He says if lawmakers cant do that in a very short period of time then hes prepared to terminate. It calls the current deal one of the worst the u. S. Has ever entered into and after his press Conference Today he placed the blame on his predecessor. We will see what happens with iran. Were very unhappy with iran. They have not treated us with the kind of respect that they should be treating. They should have thanked barack obama for making that deal. Well, he fell short of pulling the u. S. Out of the current deal, he did decertify the agreement and also imposed new sanctions on irans revolutionary guard for supporting terrorism. President trump vows that his policy means and he said today, that iran never acquires a nuclear weapon. The Iranian Foreign minister today said its america who has made clear its lack of adherence to the deal and its spirit. The governments of france germany and the United Kingdom also issued a joint statement saying theyre concerned by the possible implications of the president decertifying the deal but they do remain committed to ensuring that it is maintained. So, now await and see how this all plays out in congress. Brian. All right, alicia, thank you. Meanwhile attorneys general from several states announced plans today to sue the trump administration. The move comes in response to the president s decision to stop paying subsidies intended to lower out of pocket medical costs for millions of americans. Now in taking that action, mr. And there are the results, just 5 Miles Per Hour coming into new jersey along the southbound side of one. So, i wouldnt, i would head on the scudder falls bridge thats 95 southbound or even the turnpike connector bridge. One southbound is not where you want to be heading into pennsylvania. A crash in the work zone at girard of a pushed off to the side now but were treated to speeds like 6 Miles Per Hour as you come northbound away from the walt whitman bridge. Oh, the second half of the weekend. Okay, thats something. Not everything but. A little gloomy out there as we take a look there. Sure, im the bearer of bad news this afternoon. With all that cloud cover overhead on sky6 but the good thing is at least its not raining here on this friday evening. But again, a little bit on the coolish shied with winds side with winds coming in off the atlantic. It is a cloudy start to the upcoming weekend for saturday but we will have one more summerlike day on sunday with that sunshine returning and then the coolest temperatures weve felt so far since early spring will be coming in on monday night and tuesday morning. Right now our temps are coming in at 63 degrees for allentown, 63 trenton, 67 beach haven, 65 philadelphia, and if you think theres a chill in the air these numbers are pretty close to our average for this time of year. In fact right now 65, 66 which is near our normal of 68 degrees but look at how fast those temperatures tumble. The normal one monday from now as we get into november 57, 2 months from now december, 45 and in january our normal high is 40 degrees so take these 60s, 70s and our 80s coming in here, soak it all in on sunday. As we look at satellite and radar, theres a lot of cloud cover along the midatlantic and as you can see some moisture down to the south here and some of that could spiral through late tonight and throughout part of the upcoming weekend but again, it is far from a washout here. Friday night lights for your High School Huddle games, cloudy and damp, jackets will be needed, a chill in the air, 60 degrees basically from the kickoff to the end of the game. Those temps earn going to drop all that much but with kind of that low level moisture definitely feeling a little on the damp side. Tomorrow morning at 8 30 there you can see the clouds continue to lock in and theres a little bit of a blip of green there west of dover. Again, there could be a little bit of drizzle in spots. That continues into tomorrow afternoon with those clouds hanging around and especially southern areas near the coast, there could be some showers tomorrow afternoon while most areas stay dry. As we wake up on sunday morning, if youre up early youre going to be going, where is the sun, where is the warmth because theres going to be a lot of low clouds and fog to begin sunday morning and then as we get into the late morning, afternoon, 1 oclock there you can see that sunshine puncturing in and thats when temps will be offer to the races. As we look at the four day at 4 00 forecast it is warmer tomorrow despite its cloudy like today of 74 degrees. The winds turn more off the land as opposed to off the water and in that morning fog gives way to sun sunday afternoon. Humid as well, 84 degrees but then a big drop by 20 degrees or so on monday with a cool northnorthwest wind a lot of clouds maybe an early shower and then the sun is back in full force, its nice but its cool with a High Temperature of 64 and there you can see those overnight lows in the 40s for the city, maybe 30s for the suburbs. Well have that sevenday forecast coming up for you in the next half hour. Brian. All right my friend. Thank you. More action news coming up right after this. At longhorn, step into wood. Stone. And the blue route has a crash in Delaware County, southbound side at the route one media bypass, lima springfield. Here it is. All is left is one suv at this point. I know its been chill the last couple days ta lot of clouds, these temperatures are average for this time of year but if you want that summer warmth, yes, it is coming back this weekend and especially on sunday. Sundays forecasted high im going to start you on a high note here, at 84 degrees. Thats what were forecasting and in fact, were going to the 80s no matter what and that will make the last four of five weekends with highs at least one of those days in the 80s, pretty exceptional weekends this fall so far and were going to do it at least one more time. Next weekend who knows, but 80s at least this sunday. As we look at temps right now, close to 20 degrees cooler than that, 63 allentown, reading, 63 in trenton, 65 philadelphia, 68 in millville, 66 in dover and mighty chilly up in the poconos, 53 degrees here this afternoon. Weve been kind of socked in that cloud cover from upper parts of new york state right through the midatlantic and the deep south. Theres a bit of a trough which is kind of a little bit of energy in the atmosphere. Its almost like a cold front, warm front that is draped itself right along the coastal communities with some scattered showers and as that pivots to to the north and west there could be some periods of drizzle or light showers in spots overnight tonight especially like right now Cape May County and parts of Sussex County in delaware. Cloudy damp overnight and damp not meaning its going to rain all night but it just feels damp out there with that northeast wind four to 8 miles an hour with a couple of spotty showers around, 55 in the suburbs, 60 degrees for center city. Front is off to our north tomorrow and the difference with tomorrow, were not going to have that wind coming in off of the atlantic like weve had the last couple of days. It will be more of a land breeze tomorrow. But that should move the temps back up to 76 so its much warmer despite still a lot of clouds here for the beginning of the weekend on saturday and then all of that washes out and as a front comes in from the north and west, thats going to send winds southwesterly on sunday. Well have some fog in the morning on sunday. That will go to sun in the afternoon, warm and rather muggy with temperatures again 84 degrees and youll notice a strong wind, a strong warm wind ahead of that front on sunday and then behind it, theres a blast of fall to come in early next week. There will be very strong High Pressure thats going to bring a string of sunny days starting in the 60s at the beginning of the week going into the 70s for the middle to the end of the week. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, mostly cloudy tomorrow, 74 degrees. Morning fog on sunday morning, turning windy, sunny and humid in the afternoon of 84 degrees. And then as that front comes through on monday, a cooler northnorthwest wind sets in. A lot of clouds, maybe a shower the first part of the day. Some sun late day, 65. Sunny, nice, tuesday 64 degrees and then beautiful and sunny here wednesday, thursday, friday with highs in the low to the mid 70s and by that point at 74, not 80s but thats close to 10 degrees above average for this time of year.
