It happened earlier this morning. I want to show you where this is, across the street from the free library and not far from the Franklin Institute this is where his body was found lying in a pool of blood and open play area where children and family gather. Andrew says he was getting coffee at wawa and saw two men approach a woman. I didnt think it was serious she was laughing and jovial. And suddenly the number of officers swelled to more than a dozen. I thought maybe it was shoplifting but then in a few minutes. 15 to 20 Police Officers showed up in various vehicles and they took him away. At 7 45 this morning a man in his 50s was stabbed multiple times in the face and neck and laid out in the open at tourity sites like the Philadelphia Free library. Officers made an arrest at 17th and vine and a weapon was recovered there. There is no details on who the victim was or if he knew his attacker. But there are Homeless People that feel safe in this area. Angelo recently became homeless after owning a computer business for years. You always feel sad for someone that gets hurt. We found 70yearold raul scrubbing and washing his clothes by hand on the sidewalk, a form of therapy to him figuring how to fix his heavily damaged home and he was at his sisters house when the hurricane blew through here. So he says this is his house, this is where we watches his tv and has his bed here and was sleeping next door at his sisters house and the hurricane came and tore the roof off and destroyed his home. He is not alone in his misery. Youll find his neighbors like 82yearold antonio that survived the storm with little damage. So she says that she and her husband and grandchildren survived the hurricane here in the house. Details are sketchy but one person was apparently shot and wounded here and rushed to einstein hospital and no word on the persons condition. It was last month when david creato plead guilty to one count of aggravated manslaughter week before the retrial was to begin.
