Its a category one storm, its Getting Better organized. This bright red or deep convection is thunderstorm activity wrapping around the center. This kind of storm is breathing a little bit. Its Getting Better organized right in through here. We expect it to make a right hand turn shortly. It is moving to the northwest very slowly at this point, 9 Miles Per Hour. It will start to pick up speed as we progress along through the weekend. 550 miles to the south Southeast Cape hatteras, north carolina. As we get into tuesday, its 200, 250 miles off the coast of Atlantic City. Thats far enough off the coast only minor impacts will be felt from the system. Large waves, dangerous rip current and maybe a breeze for the jersey shore, 40 Miles Per Hour and light rain. The worst by far if the track were to confirm would stay well offshore. The height of the storm at least for us would be sometime monday night into tuesday afternoon, i want to show you the wind field as we advance this along. This is not close to what irma was when it hit florida. Hurricane force winds extend 40 miles from the center of circulation. With irma it was 80 Miles Per Hour east and west from the center of circulation. Its much smaller and more compact if the storm were to take that track the Tropical Storm force winds could stay off the coast. The jersey shore will see rough surf and tidal flooding monday into wednesday morning. If it tracks closer, the impacts will be greater. Louis overnight as protesters took to the streets over the acquittal of a white former Police Officer in the shooting death of a black man. A Security Guard at a corner bar fired the shots that killed the man a after witnessing him firing a gun in front of him. The male was shot in the stomach because in front of him he overred the observed the male fire on people walking down the street. Thats how the woman and man we believe were shot in their legs. Philadelphia police are trying to sort through all this. The Security Guard were told is cooperating. They recovered a handgun they believe belonged to the victim. Happening in philadelphia, police are searching for the suspect behind a number of attempted child abductions. At least 6 children have been approached by a man since tuesday. The incidents were tuesday around and wednesday and thursday and three incidents within a 45 minute span he offered girls money in exchange for taking their picture.
