Reporter from the air, a cruel scene, Senior Citizens still in their beds rushed to safety. Doctors and nurses surrounding them. A life and death situation at this nursing home. The Rehabilitation Center and hollywood hills. The first sign of trouble, an emergency call about a heart attack. But it soon became clear it was much more serious. The facility called and said that incidents were kuoccurring. Reporter what came next, an allout evacuation. The scene was chaotic. We had at least 115 patients that we were trying to evacuate and bring to safety. Reporter the scope of this tragedy heartbreaking. The lights on, but no air conditioning. This is the nursing home right here, and theres a large police presence. Theyve set up a command center over there. Those businesses could face stiff fines if found guilty. Three teenagers are hospitalized after a shooting at their high school killed a fellow classmate. Police say that student may have tried to talk his fellow classmate out of it, moments before he opened fire in the hallway. The suspect is described with being obsessed with Previous School shootings and was armed with a pistol and rifle. He entered the school. He proceeded to take his weapons out. At that point, he attempted to fire one weapon. It jammed. He went to his next weapon. And a student walked up to him, engaged him. And that student was shot. That student did not survive. The three injured students are hospitalized in serious condition. The suspect is now in custody. Police have not released a possible motive but are reportedly speculating that he may have been bullied. A New Hampshire mother says her 8yearold son was brutally attacked for being biracial. Some teenagers targeted her son swinging the boy with a rope around his neck. It is being investigated as a possible hate crime. Reporter the boys mothers furious that this ever happened to her son. And police didnt take it seriously until people in the town of clairemont rallied to support her child. The fact that my boy is biracial and the others are of white descent. Reporter police say all the older children allegedly responsible for the wounds to this 8yearold boy are all under the age of 14 and because theyre minors authorities arent sharing their names.
