Making space down there, were helping out. Very nice. Lets talk a little bit about whats going on with our weather. Locally weve got thunderstorms down south. Storm tracker6 live double scan right now shows you that and some of those thunderstorms are actually producing quite a bit of lightning as we go in tighter on them, you can see most of the areas down by dover being affected by this, but these are also on the move toward the northeast and it does look like theyre going to be heading into Cumberland County and salem county and eventually if they maintain their current status and form, right into Camden County and gloucester county. Philadelphia could even be clipped by a little bit of this so right now that is the Biggest Issue for us and it does look like youre not only getting heavy downpours out of this but lots of lightning maybe even a little gusty wind out ahead of these storms. As we go back to the wide shot again the northern and western suburbs picking up some lighter precipitation, most of this right now appears to be headed more or less to the north and west of allentown, although allentown, bethlehem, easton themselves have a little bit of lighter precipitation. Bucks county with the one cell pushing away from doylestown at this point. As we take a look outside, we have sky6 at the airport. Airport doesnt look all that wet right now. As we are in between those showers and thunderstorms. As we take a look outside and we take a look at temperatures, were at 69 degrees in philadelphia. Some spots a little cooler than that. Dewpoints, moderate humidity out there with that 66. Winds out of the northwest at eight and the ocean 73. Future tracker6 for the rest of the morning showing you straight through the afternoon in fact that we have additional showers and maybe some thunderstorms popping through. These wont be everywhere all at once but where they to hit theyll produce drenching downpours and perhaps isolated street flooding. Todays forecast overall 69 degrees by 8 oclock. 70 by 10 oclock. 71 by noon. Not nearly as warm as it was yesterday. We did hit our high of 83 but today only about 73 and at times there will be those showers passing through parts of the area maybe even a rumble of thunder. As we take a look at high temperatures across the region under the clouds, 68 degrees in allentown, 73 in philadelphia, and 73 down in cape may today. Cloudy skies for the most part. Hurricane irma is still a category five and is right now in the vicinity of barbuda and also antigua and it still looks like this storm is going to maintain a very strong track all the way over toward cuba and south florida. One thing i will point out the most likely tracks do appear to miss the Dominican Republic haiti puerto rico. Doesnt mean you wont have some impact but it would have been a lot worse had the storm track been farther south. By the time this does get into southern florida its starting to make that move to the north we talked about yesterday and we could see 140 Miles Per Hour winds especially on the northeast side of the storm right around miami and down toward key west as well. As you take a look at the spaghetti plot models most of these models are indeed taking this storm up through or close to florida and then right into the Southern States georgia, the carolinas, places like that where it would probably just fall apart. Very high probability of Tropical Storm force winds and even better chance of Hurricane Force winds and you can see that the strongest winds do look like they might just catch the northern coast of the Dominican Republic and haiti but its really the bahamas and open water, turks and caicos really getting pounded by this and of course miami does have the potential of having that as well. Its not just irma out there. In the distance we have Tropical Storm jose thats formed. This could also become a hurricane and more or less follow irmas path. Your exclusive accuweather 7day forecast a high of 73 today, cooler with periods of rain, perhaps thunderstorms at times. Tomorrow an early shower breaks and then we get some sun in the afternoon with a high of 74. And were still looking at that nice stretch of weather for friday, saturday and sunday. Fridays high 73. Saturday 71. And on sunday, were going to go mostly sunny and nice, 72 degrees. Now looks like if we do see rain related to irma it probably wont be until tuesday. Okay, thanks, david.
