Live double scan we can see that the area of concern at this point is really down in south jersey. We have one storm near elmer, one near mays landing, Sea Isle City and Atlantic City kind of peppered through the area. As we talked about yesterday that front that is lurching through our region isnt crossed into the coast at this point. As we look at satellite6 and action radar you can watch it in motion. The front moves through the western suburbs in the overnight hours and now its pushing through into new jersey and so we have clouds and leftover showers. We had a few showers earlier in philadelphia. As we look at the numbers right now, its 76 degrees already in philadelphia. Starting it off warm and muggy with that front still lingering. Out in the northwestern suburbs were dry and clear, youre in the up are 60s at this point but 73 in millville, 76 in cape may. How about the dewpoints there, way up there. It is a humid start to the day. 70degree dewpoint which is oppressive. 73 in dover. Look at the difference though in the Lehigh Valley. Low 60s. Thats showing the front has cleared that area so its a lot more comfortable there. Thats whats going to happen through the rest of the region. The first half of the day well see a lot more clouds especially east of the city and some lingering showers by the afternoon it turns less humid and the sunshine is back there. 86 degrees for your warm high. Much more comfortable tonight, matt. All right, that sounds good. Definitely feeling a little sticky out there this morning. Not optimal conditions in which to do construction, karen, but nonetheless we had a lot of overnight work and theres still some here along 95 as you come out of bucks county into northeast philadelphia. These are the southbound lanes by woodhaven road and it looks like at the moment well this truck is waiting to merge into the one available lane but it also looks like the penndot crews are backing up and picking up their cones. Hopefully well have all three southbound lanes available to you again shortly. They were also tearing up woodhaven itself on the eastbound side last night headed towards 95 so you still have some restrictions there. This is the vine street expressway eastbound side construction overnight as well headed towards broad street to see that car merging out of the right lane towards the center lane as the work continues. Farther east on the ramp to 95 northbound theres work and on 95 northbound headed towards allegheny more construction. So you get the idea. Youre dodging a lot of road work this morning. Overall on the schuylkill though, on the boulevard looking g we are seeing some wet conditions in southwest philadelphia on the platt bridge and 95 by the airport and in case you were wondering, all the signal upgrades with the west trenton line didnt work out as planned so well be on the buses again today between woodbourne and west trenton like yesterday. Matt. Matt thank you. Developing this morning crews are working to repair a giant sinkhole possibly caused by a water main break in philadelphias kensington section.
