They pinned on their black and gold ranger tabs at graduation in fort benning, georgia, today. Lieutenant shay haver and captain Kristen Geist graduated along with 94 male soldiers. The elite Ranger School is a nine week course. Its designed to test candidates both mentally and physically. The army says these women met the same standards as the men. Definitely awesome to be part of the history of Ranger School. I was thinking really of future generations of women that i would like them to have that be opportunity. Thats a category three hurricane and you can see the eye of danny for a few of those frames. Something about danny, its a very small hurricane. The Hurricane Force winds only extend about 15 miles from the center. So thats like a figure skater pulling in the arms. It can spin very quickly so under the right conditions it can really ramp up quickly. Thats what happened today. However, danny is going to be moving into unfavorable conditions with wind sheer and dry air it will really cause danny to weaken so it should be a Tropical Storm by the time it moves over the Lesser Antilles early next week and then it will continue its westward track over san juan and into the Dominican Republic by the middle of next week and again, as a Tropical Storm. Association it should no so d not be hitting land as a hurricane. Tomorrow beautiful weather. Sunshine, low humidity, 86 degrees. Officials in delaware are offering a reward to help track down a murderer tonight. Back in 2013 an argument outside of a party in newark escalated into a gun fight. Deandre green was caught in the crossfire and later died. Now, police want to find his killer. Action News Reporter chad pradelli talked to deandres family. Hes live outside New Castle CountyPolice Headquarters in minquedale with the story. Chad. Reporter rick, today the fbi announced a 10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. That takes the total reward money to 30,000. Now, this party where this teen was killed, it was really fueled by social media and now authorities want to use that same platform to help catch the killer. It hurts. It really hurts. I miss my baby. Reporter its been nearly two years since miss greens son deandre was caught in the crossfire and killed during a Birthday Party at the Brookside Community center but the pain is still piercing. Its been hell. I miss my son every single day. It just seems so unfair. How could you do everything right and everything so wrong happens. Uhhuh. And i got to live with that every day. I interviewed over 150 people. Not one bad thing was said about this kid. New Castle County Police and fbi say the 16yearold and upwards of 200 people were at the Birthday Party at the center. Teens and young adults from newark area high schools attended but as the party ended, fights began to break out. Multiple people opened fire. Deandre was shot twice in the back. He died in his best friends arms. We have some information but we need more. We need people who were out there who saw things, saw this happen to come forward. Reporter the fbi has now added a 10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. The total now stands at 30,000. Authorities want the reward money and deandres story to be spread through social media so the killers can be brought to justice. By them not speaking theyre leaving these people on the streets to continue to do what they are doing. We still dont know why. We still dont know who and its its just its crazy to me. A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader now faces two years of probation after she pleaded guilty to raping a 15yearold boy. 48yearold Molly Shattuck appeared in a Sussex County courtroom today. She collapsed to her knees in court and went after she was sentenced for having sex with a boy at a Vacation Home in delaware. Shattuck a mother of three got 15 years in prison but a judge suspend they had prison time in favor of probation. Shattuck will spend every other weekend in custody at a Probation Center and she will have to register as a sex offender. Philadelphia Authorities Say theyre looking into whether City Employees used their official email accounts to sign up for the cleating web site Ashley Madison. Com. According to the citys office of information technology, 14 email addresses ending in philadelphia. Gov appeared on a list of Ashley Madison users published by hackers. Officials told action news theyre looking into the dates the information was posted to match up if any City Employees used Government Computers for personal use. Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting in the citys tacony section. It happened about midnight near the corner of long shore avenue and gillespie street. Neighbors told action news they heard seven shots. Police say a man in his 30s was shot several times as he was getting in or out of a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
