It happened twice this summer at the same place on cobbs creek golf course, a 26yearold woman on july 11th was walking south to the 69th street terminal on her way to work, it was 3 30 a. M. And dark and the suspect passed by the victim and then turned and grabbed her. Dragged her into the golf course area and sexual assaulted her and fled the location. And then in the same area, a 39yearold woman was cutting across the golf course as people do, and the suspect came out of nowhere and started pulling at her clothes and she fought back and he punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her. The victims gave similar descriptions of the attacker, a hispanic male in his mid30s, muscular and short hair and clean shaven, in the first instant dents a white tshirt and the second a red tshirt and black pants, police have stepped up patrols using golf carts and dirt bikes. The amount of force that is used has us concerned. Now, police are still analyzing evidence hoping to get a dna sample, they want people all across this vast golf course to be on alert for anything that looks suspicious and people that travel through here or live in the surrounding neighborhoods to take precautions to stay safe.
