And, friday morning, at 6 00 a a. M. Pedestrians trying to enter the red secure perimeter will need to go through metal detectors and be screened. No cars will be allowed in the black secure vehicle perimeter you see there. 8 00 a. M. Yellow lines take effect. Those are authorized vehicle access road and they will be reserved for emergency vehicles only. The residents cannot park on those streets by the way. Then friday night at 10 00 p. M. A secure perimeter will be set up around independent mall for the popes speech there. Also, on friday night, previously announced traffic box in center city goes into effect at 6 00 p. M. With the addition of the one in West Philadelphia and University City a at 10 00 oclock. Now when will all of this reopen . That is yet to be announced but mayor says it will be limited, through sunday night, at least. Well, lets talk about city services. Courts will be closed that whole week. The city will be operating Central Services from thursday to monday. Many city offices will not be opened, what were doing this because we recognize how difficult it may be for many, of our own City Employees to get to work. City employees will be briefed by their supervisors about the particulars. Public schools will be closed from wednesday through friday, it is yet to be determined if map will also be a day off but mayor says notification would be made the same way it does for snow closings. All this has caused the first day of kindergarten to be thursday, september the 17th.
