Its not confirmed if a suitcase found nearby is connected to the plane that disappeared nearly 17 months ago. But this morning, investigators have few doubts about the origin of the six foot long wing part a source close to the investigation tells abc news this number was on the piece of wreckage and matches a boeing 777. Only one is missing in the world, Malaysia Flight 370. The newly discovered wing part is called a flappy bird used to help the plane turn and to slow it down for landing. Its condition leading experts to believe someone was alive and at the controls of flight 370 when it crashed. It must have landed in water at slow speed because if it hit at very high speed this flappy bird would have been a ball of metal. Reporter the floating flappy bird was found at least 2600 miles from the search area for the plane. It is possible the planes debris could drift that far but it is not possible to trace it back to exactly where it came from. It does not lead us back to where that airplane is resting on the bottom. It does not tell us what happened at the end of this flight.
