World's Oldest Surviving Amphitheater Preserved at Pompeii

In 79 AD, Pompeii was buried under ash and frozen in time, leading to the preservation of a whole city, including the world’s oldest surviving amphitheater. And so the world’s oldest surviving amphitheater was almost perfectly preserved thanks to the famous eruption.
