World Day focuses on Internet's role in digital development
Geneva, May 17 (Prensa Latina) The role of the Internet in the digital transformation of humanity and its importance during the Covid-19 pandemic are the focus of the International Internet Day on Monday.
Under the motto 'Internet, a lever for digital transformation and resilience,' institutions across the world related to connectivity on the web, schools, companies and thousands of users are participating in the activities scheduled for this day.
Every May 17, since 2006, the date, whose genesis is in Spain, at the initiative of the Spanish Association of Internet Users, is officially commemorated throughout the planet.
