HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Local event venues have been empty for months as the pandemic put a stop to live shows. The workers who depend on these events are now pleading for a plan from city and state leaders to bring back not only the music, but the jobs as well.
“If the promoters and the people that bring those events don’t know by June that they can book something safely, then that certainly threatens us all,” said Bob Harmon, president of Eggshell Lighting Company.
