Tuesday marks the much anticipated homecoming for the Worcester Red Sox. Polar Park will open its gates to welcome fans for the first-ever Worcester Red Sox home game as they host the Syracuse Mets.
Polar Park will be a welcome sight for the WooSox, as they dropped four of six games in the opening road trip against Buffalo.
While none of the WooSox got off to a particularly hot start, mustering just four runs over the first three games of the season, it was an especially bumpy beginning for prospects Jeter Downs and Jarren Duran, who combined to go 0-for-21 with 10 strikeouts atop the Worcester lineup.
