Woodbridge new COVID-19 cases remain high, mayor warns of virus vaccine scams ahead of roll out
WOODBRIDGE – The township reported 183 new COVID-19 cases over a three-day period, which brings the total number of cases to 5,064, according to Mayor John McCormac in his coronavirus report on Dec. 21.
Seventy-nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported for Dec. 18, 64 new cases were reported for Dec. 19 and 40 new cases were reported for Dec. 20.
The mayor said experts attribute the recent surge in cases partially to the Thanksgiving holiday family events. He urged the public to avoid the same thing from happening in the next few weeks.
