Men earn more than women in 7 out of 8 South African metros, data published by the National Treasury shows.
Mangaung is the only city with virtually no pay gap.
The gender pay gap is the worst in Ekurhuleni.
The pay gap is widening in some cities, and stubbornly fixed in others.
