Now, sources have confirmed to the Irish Independent on Sunday, that the woman responsible was eventually located by Gardaà after several months.
The woman also provided a voluntary statement and a file on the case was submitted to the DPP.
Gardaà reportedly sought a Section two assault charge. However, the DPP recently said that the woman shouldn't face criminal charges, and the case is now closed.
Gardaà confirmed to JOE that an investigation file was sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions who has since directed no prosecution in the matter.
