Fire: The scene in Cawdor Street
A WOMAN was treated for injuries after firefighters were called to an address in Bolton on Monday.
Two fire engines from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene in Cawdor Street at around 5.30pm.
A technical rescue unit from Leigh was also in attendance.
She was treated by trauma technicians before paramedics took over.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 5.30pm on Monday 28 June, firefighters were called to Cawdor Street, Bolton.
“Two fire engines from Bolton Central and Farnworth fire stations, as well as the technical rescue unit from Leigh, quickly attended the scene. A GMFRS trauma technician treated a woman at the scene before handing over to colleagues from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
