A woman ended her life by jumping into the Phalguni River at Pucchamogaru in Bantwal taluk. The deceased is Veeta Marina D’Souza, 32. She had invested about Rs 20 lakh through an application that promised to double her income. A complaint was registered in this regard. Her body was found on Sunday, based on which an unnatural death report has been registered, and an investigation is on into the incident.
