Van Buren, N.Y. — A woman was treated by emergency medical technicians Thursday after she fainted while firefighters were putting out a fire at a house in Van Buren, fire officials said at the scene.
The woman was not in the ranch-style home on Northrup Boulevard while it was on fire, Lakeside Fire Chief Michael Kolakowski said. The woman’s status was not known, but her injuries were considered non-life threatening, he said.
