WARREN — Police officers are investigating a stabbing that occurred about 8:45 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 600 block of Olive Avenue NE.
Officers arrested Carolyn Wargo, 31, of Olive Avenue NE, who was arraigned Monday in Warren Municipal Court. Wargo pleaded not guilty to a second-degree felonious assault charge.
Judge Thomas Gysegem ordered Wargo be released on a personal recognizance bond and told Wargo not to have contact with the victim or go to the address where the stabbing took place.
According to a Warren police report, numerous people were found on the porch with the stabbing victim and yelled at police, identifying Wargo as the suspect. Police tried to stop the woman as she walked toward her house, and she ignored their commands, the report states.
