SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — A driver has been charged with hit-and-run causing death after an 18-year-old was found dead in a South Carolina parking lot.
Casey Marie Schinestuhl, 24, posted a picture of her shattered windshield on Facebook after the crash, saying she was in a wreck with a tractor trailer in Spartanburg, a prosecutor said at her bond hearing.
“I’m okay y’all. My first accident ever. A 18 wheeler hit me this morning. Sally is now on her way to the body shop to see if she’s fixable or totaled”, WHNS-TV reported that Schinestuhl said in her post.
