Wolf River shooting in Waupaca County: Green Bay man arrested

NEW LONDON – Police arrested a 30-year-old Green Bay man after a person was shot in the head Sunday while tubing on the Wolf River.
Cornelius Dupree Russell is in custody, and officials are asking anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact investigators at 715-258-4466, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s office officials said deputies responded around 4:20 p.m. Sunday after a fight broke out between people who were tubing on the Little Wolf River.
