Woburn City Clerk William Campbell is one of six finalists being considered for the job as new director of the state's Office of Campaign and Political Finance.
The panel charged with hiring the new OCPF director is eyeing a mid-February timeframe to interview its finalists, who will face initial questions about their management styles, the agency's nonpartisan nature and their responses to past professional challenges.
The search committee -- Secretary of State William Galvin, Democratic Party Chairman Gus Bickford, Republican Party Chairman Jim Lyons and Boston College Law School Dean Vincent Rougeau -- met via Zoom Jan. 22 to discuss the interview schedule.
