Police are still searching for the second suspect. Alison new Jersey Police have arrested one of the men who allegedly took off with a bag containing 150,000 cash. First, i want to start by saying i was a spokesperson for sweet and low and i no longer am. What were talking about today is a controversial article written in the new york times. It was written by a pediatrician who said he feels artificial sweeteners are a better choice than natural sugar and if he had the option of giving his child a diet soda other regular, he would rather give them a diet soda. He goes through each of the sweeteners and talks about his review of the evidence and his for example, with aspartame, theres concern over whether it causes brain tumors or behavioral issues. He receipt futures some refutes some of the articles and says they were found to be safe. He talks about saccharine. There was a debate whether it could be linked to bladder cancer. After reviewing literature, it has been removed from the cancer list in the year 2000. After reviewing these different pieces of literature and discussing how sugar is known to be bad that it causes diabetes and Heart Disease, he feels its a better option to pick artificial sweeteners. Now. I dont know how you feel about this. But i actually saw the study. I was shocked by it. Because for years and years and years, kids have had candy. Kids have had sugar. It hasnt killed them. Yes, we have a weight problem, but it hasnt killed them, but we keep hearing the warnings about artificial sweeteners. Youre not unlike a lot of the critics of the oped. Critics are saying there are studies that show that artificial sweeteners can be linked to Heart Disease or diabetes, that we dont know the longterm risks. And that potentially can alter they cite negative consequences. The jury is still out. We know added sugars and High Fructose Corn Syrup is not good for children. I would say the bottom line is for right now, just moderation. First off, you shouldnt be giving your kids soda, but if you do, moderation. Dari okay. All right.
