Roz the investigation began with Metro Transit Police, and up by the fbi, finished off by the Prince George police who made the arrest. They are very serious charges. David davis is a sevenyear veteran Metro Transit Police officer. After searching his woodbridge home early thursday morning Prince William county Police Charged him with taking indecent liberties with a child. His roommates are stunned. Very surprising. I cannot believe it, to be honest. He is a really good guy. He is a mentor to the kids in the neighborhood. Roz the police say that he used a cell phone app to chat with a girl. He exposed himself and solicited inappropriate images from the teen. Metro said, given the deeply disturbing nature of the charges announced today the employee involved has been suspended without pay effective immediately. His roommates say that is what is so hard to believe, because davis loved being a Police Officer. He says him a Police Officer and i cannot do anything to jeopardize my job. District court today, a judge said because of how many cases were compromised he had to hand down a person sentenced, but it was not his lungs it could have been. The judge sentenced former ec based fbi agent Matthew Lowry to three years. Supporters including his wife were in tears. He had hoped for home detention. The sentence was still far less than the seven years the prosecution and fbi wanted. I think the judge understood what i was going through. Tom lowry became addicted to painkillers after being diagnosed with that i just of disease. When the pain meds ran outcome he turned to heroin in. In march, he pled guilty to 64 counts, admitting that he stole some, some of them from his own cases. Outside court, his father william, a longtime Police Officer, encouraged other families to ask loved ones again and again if they suspect they are addicted to something. It is horrific. Tom as he heads to prison, he will leave behind his 16 month old son. Hopefully this sentence will be short enough where i will see him in a couple years. Tom he said that he wants to take what he has been through when use it to try to help others who are addicted to drugs.
