With four Black men and four women, Mid-American Conference ADs easily are most diverse in FBS

Of the 130 directors of athletics in the FBS, 16, or 12.3%, are Black. The share of women in charge of FBS athletic departments is even lower, at 8.5%, according to Crain's research. The MAC, meanwhile, has as many Black men and white women (four each) as white men in the AD role.
